  1. Might be one of those to check back in after about two hours, particularly if the weather is decent. See if a comeback happens after the fact.
  2. Crow getting some run support from the Woodpeckers.
  3. The team has two rookie pitchers in the rotation--Sproat, Harrison--and two other second-year starters--Misiorowski and Patrick. Both of Sproat's outings have been caught by catchers other than Contreras, with neither of them going very well. (Acknowledge that the rainout double-header in Kansas City made one of those starts basically unavoidable.) While Harrison has thrown twice to Contreras, with good starts in both games. Don't know if Drohan working with Sanchez behind the plate will be more like the Sproat outings or the Harrison ones. Contreras definitely needs days where he's not catching. But perhaps trying to plan those days off that don't line up with the rookie pitcher starts might be something worth looking at going forward. Having a good veteran catcher to throw to would seem to be a benefit for a rookie pitcher. (Today is a spot start for Drohan, so it wasn't exactly planned out.)
  4. Just about a perfect start to the season record wise. Swept the White Sox. Had Game 1 against Tampa Bay go the wrong way, but was winnable; took the next two. Love seeing these clutch, late 8th inning rallies that turn into wins.
  5. Six runs with only two extra-base hits (Turang’s leadoff double and bloop double). Seven stolen bases and 5-for-14 with RISP. Looks like the 2025 offense has carried into 2026.
  6. Unfortunately with today's Chourio IL news, it looks like TURBO may have been right about the HBP on March 4 being more serious than the reports from Team Venezuela.
  7. There's the #12 upset over a #5. Death knell for Wisconsin being given a #5 seed. Mid/low-major hitting the 3-pointers down the stretch, while the high-major couldn't close out the game.
  8. Regarding Suarez vs Durbin, the Brewers appear to have gone with Option C. Will be curious to see what that is.
  9. Entire management staff should go. Time for a complete reset: general manager, head coach, coordinators.
  10. Going to need a comeback touchdown to win. Not betting on it.
  11. Hope the offense can get another touchdown. Going to need it to finish off a win.
  12. Terrible secondary play reading the pass and routes.
  13. Missing that extra point is bad, but almost expected.
  14. At least running the ball three times and going three-and-out could salt away two minutes of game clock. This offense is doing absolutely nothing positive. Just a textbook example of not finishing a game right now.
  15. There’s a gift from Chicago’s special teams.
  16. Defense showing up with the bend, but don’t break. But less than a full two-score lead now. Gotta get points.
  17. This has all the signs of the meltdown. There’s the “special teams” showing up again.
  18. That penalty is ludicrous, even if it is the rule. If the league allows piles to be pushed to gain yards, then the defense needs to be allowed to crash the piles. Player safety is being disregarded only in the offense’s favor.
  19. Giving up three isn’t terrible. But the offense needs to at least move the ball on this next series. Won’t mind trading scores.
  20. Would really like to get one of those kickers like other teams manage to find.
  21. Stealing any sort of points before halftime would be immense.
  22. McManus needed anything but giving them the full touchback. Just annoying.
