  1. Solid defense at shortstop so far. Also allows Hamilton to play third base, where his defense looks to be more than adequate. That compounding effect is good. As long as the offense is passable, it can work for most of the regular season, even if adding a bat for the stretch run and playoffs would be helpful.
  2. Bit lucky that Hamilton’s triple didn’t bounce out of play.
  3. Barely escaped a triple play, then Mitchell goes yard. Quite the swing!
  4. Bunting for a hit. Could almost bunt it hard into left field with the massive shift by the third baseman.
  5. Quero’s injury hurts in not having another catcher pushing Contreras. Maybe that development still happens for Quero, though the throwing skill looks likely not to be pre-injury top class.
  6. Going to have to bring back the “That’s Brewers Offense(TM)” slogan.
  7. 55 pitches through 4 innings. Facing the minimum batters. Miz might not be as sharp, but that’s still fairly efficient. Offense needs to make a big appearance against Rea.
  8. 4-2 on a road trip to Atlanta and Cincinnati. Four one-run games and one two-run game. Even lost the two games that Misiorowski and Harrison started. That’s baseball, and you take the wins.
  9. They could use another power arm in the bullpen. Definitely for playoff baseball.
  10. Good to get a close win in Cincinnati after a couple close losses in Atlanta. Didn't want to squander the excellent return start by Woodruff and using the A-Team Bullpen. Feels like one of those games that went the Brewers' way quite frequently in 2025, which added up in the final standings.
  11. Taste of October baseball in Atlanta. About as nasty as cough syrup.
  12. Pratt's sacrifice fly was good to see. Didn't totally squander the run-scoring opportunity in the 4th inning. But currently 1-for-9 with RISP through 4 innings. Game would feel a good bit different had a couple of those chances been cashed in earlier.
  13. Been a bit of traffic on the base paths for Drohan, but he's managing to get out of the jams so far. Could use a couple easy 4th and 5th innings.
