  1. I am rooting for a Cardinals sweep. We control our own destiny, so why not get closer to the division lead. The road to the World Series will be much easier if we win the division. Will people really care or remember that we made the playoffs in 2008 if we go to Philly or New York and get swept?
  2. Gagne has been very good lately. Hopefully Brewer fans will start supporting him. His contributions could be huge down the stretch.
  3. There is no way Supan should be pitching the 6th. Bring in Carlos
  4. Somewhere Glenn Renner is having a beer celebrating Dave Bush's performance tonight
  5. Where are all the posts saying how awesome the Brewers are? Why do the majority of people only post when things are going bad?
  6. The Phillies had runners on 1st and 2nd with nobody out and didn't score.....same old Phillies.
  7. You can always tell around here when it is a good defensive inning for the Brewers...no comments.
  8. Prince....I can't wait for you to get out of town
  9. Pinch hitting Branyan in that spot is just silly
  10. Couldn't agree more rluz. There is a reason Kaplar was out of the game, that doesn't mean he can't be productive and help the team, but to be an everyday outfielder....please.
  11. So walks DO hurt the other team as well..... I thought we were the only team that didn't take advantage of walks?
  12. No, not really pebadger....we are one of the 8 best teams in baseball
  13. This team is just so frustrating to watch. I said it then, and I will say it again, they will not recover from that Cubs series. It's proving to be true. So what?? They won 2 in ATL, a college team could've won two against ATL. Jorge Campillo schooled them for the third time this year, now Manny is having the ultimate meltdown against a team that has given up on the season. Not to mention the scorless innings streak is at 15 and counting. That Cubs series was the beginning of the end for this team I'm afraid. So, once this statement is proven to be wrong, are you going to admit it? Some people are so unrealistic. Are we suppose to win at a .666 clip all year?
  14. See you later Yount19....check the box score tomorrow to see if we come back
  15. Imagine how Cub fans are feeling right now...they are being shut out by Houston and Brian Moeller.
  16. When Counsell bats its a no win situation. If he suceeds, he will get more at bats and I don't think anybody wants that.
  17. This Reds team seems dead to me. I would be disappointed with anything less than 2 wins in the next three days. The Cubs will have their hands full with the Astros....4 games back heading into the weekend sounds nice to me.
  18. Lead off walks have a tendency to score....Looks like we might be playing from behind.
  19. Come on Bruce...why not be positive. As a Brewer fan, why should you be negative. This is the BEST team we have had in how many years? We are leading the wild card, while still in the division race. Try to have some fun. It's like every result with every pitch and at bat has to be positive to keep some Brewer fans happy.
  20. Ray Durham offers nothing to this line-up. RIckie is a spark plug...Durham is not
  21. What's the Brewers record for home runs in consecutive days? I would think Prince might have it now with 4.
