Sorry, forgot about Durham's single to start the game.....it seemed like so long ago.
  2. BrewCityUnit
Durham sure was the spark plug we needed tonight.

If this tam can clear their head, lets win Wednesday and Thursday and just pretend these 4 games didn't happen. Bruce Ciske, I agree...it is so much easier just to stay in one thread http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Playoff teams don't get blown out by the (expletive) last-place team in their division and lose two of three to a team that was swept by the Pirates in their most recent series. The Yankees are about to lose their second game in a row at home to Orioles, who have lost somewhere around 10 out of their last 12 games. Does that mean the Yankees aren't ready for the big stage?

Bill Hall should never play against a righty Tell that to St. Louis?

You cannot tell me that TGJ wouldn't do at LEAST what Cameron does This might be the worst post I have ever read on this board (not to be mean or anything) Everytime I read this board, I wish the song "what have you done for me lately" was playing out of the speakers.

I can guarantee that Rickie is one of the hardest working players and probably the most liked player on the team.

Could be the last time you see Weeks on the field this year in a Brewer uniform. WOW....I really doubt that. People need to relax, it is the 7th inning. Players are going to make errors.
  9. BrewCityUnit
I'm pretty sure Weeks feels worse about that play then anybody on this site.
  10. BrewCityUnit
I agree rluz....how many times can the Brewers go from being a bunch of losers to the best team in baseball back to a bunch of losers.
  11. BrewCityUnit
Weeks, you are brutal with the bat and the glove. Sit on the bench you scrub. You do realize Weeks won us 2 games in St. Louis with his bat. Get off his case.

Honestly, if you were giving the opportunity today to step in and be a Major League manager....would you be good at your job?

Are the Cubs the new favorites to win the wild card? How great is that! Should be an exciting wild card race.

Is Gagne out of everybody's doghouse.....because he has been pretty awesome lately.

I'm not saying I am a huge fan of bringing Mota in. The fact is, he is part of the 25 man roster and there will be times that he will be used....obviously more than you like. I dislike Yost more than anyone I know, but it just gets old to see so much negativity on this board when this team is the best we have had in a long time.
  16. BrewCityUnit
How many scoreless innings in a row will Mota have to pitch for people not to complain when he comes in?
  17. BrewCityUnit
The definition of a sell out is when you cannot purchase 2 tickets together. When it gets to scattered single seats, they will announce a sell out

The way I see the 2008 season playing out...these are my 8 playoff teams AL New York Yankees Chicago White Sox LA Angels Boston NL New York Mets Chicago Cubs LA Dodgers Milwaukee How crazy would it be for both NY, LA and Chicago teams to make it with Boston and Milwaukee to round it out. There is no way that all 6 teams from NY, LA and Chicago have ever made it.
  19. BrewCityUnit
Why do I have a feeling that LaRue is NOT going to hit a home run here http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  20. BrewCityUnit
I have goose bumps right now. How great is this. The Cardinals must hate us..... and boy does that feel good!
  21. BrewCityUnit
Why do I have a feeling that Brauny is going to go yard in the 9th?
  22. BrewCityUnit
I hate Pujols....did he really just have to drop his bat at home plate?
  23. BrewCityUnit
This is hard to watch....poor Corey
  24. BrewCityUnit
I think Prince is due for a home run right here.
  25. BrewCityUnit
small sample....but I already miss Weeks. Way to take him out of the top spot Yost. You are a real man of genius, skipper.
