    i think this is a tough one. you have to differentiate between guys we know juiced (through admission or positive tests) and those who we suspect. i think mcgwire is the latter. though his "i am not here to talk about the past" thing and his dealings with andro (which was legal at the time) make us think one way, he has never physically admitted to using illegal steroids. this becomes a question of who you believe. lots of people want to say that barry bonds or another slugger was on steroids, but will we ever have empirical evidence? probably not? what do we do with those guys? assume or give them the benefit of the doubt? EDIT: posted at the same time as the last one. do we know for sure...at least as sure as we know about pete rose? rose admitted, mcgwire has not officially admitted. we all have our thoughts. then it becomes a he said - he said fiasco. who to suspect and who not to it seems obvious about mcgwire, but what about guys who are not as obvious?

    moving the runner from first to second doesnt score more runs? im sure this has been hashed out due to how this post was made....but this is a serious comment (pardon me if i missed any earlier conversations about this)...not trying to be rude...but why is second base considered scoring position and first base is not? i would think that you would have a better chance to score a runner from second with one out than with a runner on first with no outs. especially if you are the brewers (save this outburst going on right now!) http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

    as big of a brewer fan as i am, i am a bigger badger football fan. it would be nice to flip between games though.

    i thought that i heard that on 620 last night or this morning edit: just checked their website. i was wrong. i dont know why i thought i heard that.

    probably poor excuses, but... badgers play at 6:00pm saturday night packers play at 3ish sunday afternoon they probably dont want to compete with football. generally by this time the crew is well out of any meaningful games, so they didnt put these games into the tv contract. maybe this will change next year with the performance this year and the hopes for next year. that seemed to be the most logical reason in the past. especially since both of these bump the brewers off 620 in milwaukee

    as i was reading through this thread, it seemed like it was going down the road to being locked when all the talk of mexicans and blacks and stuff came up. would have been ironic (and entertaining) if the "locking of threads" thread was locked!
