hopefully this isnt correlated to the speed of the site!?!

my loads are a little slow at times as well...but its not that big of a deal. using firefox and roadrunner fwiw

i think he meant not starting your 10 best players only to have #11-15 or whatever come in and take some of the better players out in the 4th or 5th inning.

if you are ever in need of a pitcher, i would be willing to step in for a game or two. i wouldnt call myself spectacular, but i can get the ball over the plate. i dont know how keen the wife would be on having me play another league every week, which is why i didnt join, but i live about 10 minutes from the field. if i get some notice, im sure i could make it work. just thought i would offer

ask jj hardy what he is going to do when he has the decision between sliding into a catcher blocking the plate and running him over. i am already sick of cubs fans saying that pierzynski shouldnt have ran the catcher over...it is part of the game people.

let me be the first to say that i think aj was trying to avoid contact with barrett while heading toward the bench. you can see his shoulder move away from barrett then barrett lunges after him. barrett should be out for many games IMO.

i hope they at least kept their own. i have been involved in one too many scoring questions to not...twice in a game 2 weeks ago...both went our way and were never questioned by the other team we ended up winning by 2!

mike hegan's is located on cleveland avenue just west of moorland. havent been in their new location yet, but i liked the old one off 124th

this is true, but i think many schools use it as an end of the year reward. i always remember games like that, though

can someone explain how they get more at an afternoon game than a night game?? this throws the school/work excuse right out the window. side note...bonds coming up
  15. temke
and this is his fault?? you say it like he purposely plays well when it doesnt matter. his double last night led off the inning...he also had a base hit with a runner on in the 9th
  16. temke
i got that. i just didnt get hall running toward the runner. tough call i guess. you are taught to try to make only 1 throw, but also to get the runner back to the base. nice fake tag by cappy though!
  17. temke
are they taught to leave second base? i was never taught that. hall did it both times

i think this thread right here is why branyan threads get locked. people are bitterly divided about the guy and petty arguments about him always seemed to ensue. again, i think we might see the lock on the locked thread!!
  19. temke
i think the entire "statistical analysys" category is another reason for that...though it is fun to be blown away with statistics and graphs every so often!!

you have to give the guys at least 2 weeks to start to produce. nothing will kill confidence than getting benched in the first week or two of the season...even if only for a game.

the west allis high schools play summer softball, so that wont be an issue. but im guessing once their softball leagues start that teams will be in the same boat you guys are in. i think wilson park is your best bet. i think the county parks policy is that you can reserve a field to guarantee use, but otherwise it is first come first serve at no cost. dont quote me though. the two fields behind the ice rink are ok. there are also many fields east of 20th street...but i think they may be used by the pee-wee little league teams.

should have...but i had my season tickets already. it sounded like the open house was pretty "open". nice pics on your blog!

wouldnt it be interesting if we had to lock another thread where a previously locked thread is being discussed?!?
