Monasterio in for yelich as DH. Can’t have a DH that can’t make contact.

Yelich has got to be a hitter. First pitch strike…he always takes. No time for his mediocrity. Snell is great but we need people fouling him off at least. It cant truly be that we didn’t study… Have to be first pitch strike hitters. After that, battle for lengthy ABs.

The magic returns even amidst Miz overratedness, Murphy managing weirdness…and Monasterio delivering the AB that the high paid, all star Yelich can no longer provide. Beautiful moments from utter confusion. someone started writing again…

I could not see or listen to the game today…this forum saves lives. But, I hope there was conversation in thread about our RISP woes of late. This is why Yelich is so important mentally for the team. I think our boys are more clutch with him in the lineup.

Loving the irony last night…standing ovation for Adames, he hits two into the stands. Wild pitch ties it…Wild Bill ends it. everyone loves a walk-off but Megill blowing a save, especially at home, is concerning. Gotta get to Webb early tonight or hope a blast or two helps us win the pitchers duel.

I am just stunned. I can’t believe what I just witnessed tonight! Whatever honorary poster gets printed about this team- no matter what happens for postseason- I’m buying 50 and giving them as Christmas gifts… best summer of Crew watching ever.
