Great game…and this is how we should hit against poor pitching anyway. Have to keep the foot on the gas. The Cubs series will determine whether or not these injuries are going to reverse our fortunes. But, for now, absolutely loving how the Crew is taking care of business.

Murphy needs to make statement and pull McGee as soon as this trouble started. We have relievers. Use them. This is unacceptable managing imo.

The incredible numbers and the aggressive, confident play from the Crew is awesome. But, the glaring misfit player is Ortiz. Doesn’t the team owe Turang a shot at SS? Did you see how a trade for a catcher made Contreras go 2-4, walk and RBI? What if they place Collins at 2nd (his original trained position) and give Yelich more outfield and Contreras or a returned Hoskins the DH? Why not sweep the Cubs and go into the last place Nationals series with a new look with Ortiz on the bench?
