  1. Good news, for sure. Still hate to see any of these wood pecking, pesky outfielders sit. They’ve been amazing.
  2. Brewers baseball offense returns…!! so now let’s not give up huge leads. Looking at you pitchers…
  3. Well said. And certainly better to have a bad luck hit and spiked pitch now than when it matters most. I think my 2024 NLWC sad self took over for a bit…
  4. Loving the irony last night…standing ovation for Adames, he hits two into the stands. Wild pitch ties it…Wild Bill ends it. everyone loves a walk-off but Megill blowing a save, especially at home, is concerning. Gotta get to Webb early tonight or hope a blast or two helps us win the pitchers duel.
  5. I’ve missed every minute of this game due to a boring business dinner. Skipped dessert…or did I? Turned on game just in time to see Mona crush a HR! How sweet..
  6. I am just stunned. I can’t believe what I just witnessed tonight! Whatever honorary poster gets printed about this team- no matter what happens for postseason- I’m buying 50 and giving them as Christmas gifts… best summer of Crew watching ever.
  7. So you’ve got a Yelich, Lockridge, Frelick outfield? I figure Contreras should be catching the mystery pitcher. Who DHs? The Reds are playing well…
  8. The outside low corner on batters is completely undefined tonight. Bound to get people pissed off…
  9. “…and Collins’ solo shot walks off a sweep of the Mets…which put the Crew up 6 games on the Cubs. Now….the series with the Pirates starts with… “ the script writer
  10. Any Creighton University Blue Jay grads/fans out there? Collins is the real deal out of the heartland. Love this kid!
  11. At this point, I am willing to say throw Monasterio some DH work. He has been a consistent barrel if not base hit. Let Yelich reset on the bench for a series…because you sure as heck can’t sit Vaughn or Collins…they have earned everything…and at base pay. Contreras catching instead of DH is gonna always be best.
  12. True. The “everybody contributes” way of winning still requires leadership from your highest paid and most experienced players. Yelich needs to be a much harder at bat.
  13. The Brewers need this kind of pressure. And, to be able to shut the door on teams. O great “insurance runs” gods be with us!
  14. Want Contreras to get hot again? Call up a catcher from AAA. He takes any chance he’d play less very personally. Yelich needs to be a tougher AB. The strikeouts on obvious breaking balls is alarming.
  15. Not a Siegler fan. His last play from third…you could tell by the swift hard throw that he got a stern look from the coaches after his lazy previous play. His contact at the plate does not produce. Durbin any day or any pitcher is better.
