  1. Though there is excitement in a Pratt debut, it’s Yelich and Turang who also need a statement night at the ballpark… Looking forward to it!
  2. Yeli vs RHP - strike out Chourio vs RHP - HR this is what I’m talking about
  3. I can’t believe he’s batting .276. Seems so high based on impact. He needs to sit more.
  4. I used to think it was only Craig Counsel who was stealing 40 million. Now it’s Yelich.
  5. Exactly. Kraken crushes one - and we know he is streaky- so ride the good instead of pay homage to Yeli who has lost his impact.
  6. Funny that these A’s can hit like this but my guess is that Yelich will not. Can’t play in the field, roll over to 2nd too much. Rengifo? Goodbye. Ortiz? Same. Our sentimentality will catch up eventually. And, even if we make post-season, Yelich is not a superstar anymore. We won’t win a WS. Better to try younger talent from AAA now! along with actual hitters like Turang, Vaughn, and Bauer.
  7. So sick of Yelich’s approach. He is so inconsistent and easy to strike out!!
  8. I agree with you about Yelich and the playoffs. He’s not a superstar anymore. He’s just a fan favorite. We need an actual big bat threat that doesn’t SO so much.
  9. So tired of Mitchell. I’d rather give Perkins more chances…
  10. So tired of Megill. That’s what happens when your fast ball goes absolutely straight. No movement.
  11. Put the ball in play…and close with Uribe. Win!
  12. Our hitting coaches need to do some work…but luck is okay too.
  13. Ortiz, bases loaded. The usual. Disappointment. The usual.
  14. Announcers said that Uribe is a closer in waiting. Why wait? Megill has been terrible.
  15. Those RISP numbers are sad. We need to reclaim what it means to be what we used to call “clutch”. It’s true for the bullpen too…
  16. I think we come back and win this game. The Sonny diet of curveballs should get us hits on the 3rd time through. No doubt that we are not getting real production from Rengifo and the ‘second stringers’ so if Murph can stop setting us up for mediocrity, we can win a series like this! Injuries not helping either. If they lose today, it just puts the NL Central where it usually is- very competitive and every game counts. Reds are gunning for 1st.
  17. Amazing season. Grateful for the very fun ride. Wheels fell off. Can’t compete with both talent and experience in postseason. the dodgers do not develop talent. They buy it from others who developed it. Brew Crew put nobodies and some has beens in the lineup and made them memorable stars. can’t believe we couldn’t win 1 at home. When you have the best record you get that ADVANTAGE. Wonder what Uecker would say… Can’t wait for spring training. That’s the best part of living in the desert.
