We’d be able to beat the Cubs in the playoffs like last year. Not this year…too much offense, hate to say.
  2. DesertBrew52
One HR is all we get for Yelich being “motivated”. Then, it’s back to 43s or other rollovers.
  3. DesertBrew52
Henderson is hanging pitches badly. Could get ugly.
  4. DesertBrew52
You spoke it back into existence. Well done! Now say, “Yelich announces retirement at end of 2026 season.” Please.
  5. DesertBrew52
Vaughn heating up, Mitchell going cold. Chourio back on track, Yelich completely useless. Ortiz hot, Contreras cold. yes, this is life in baseball. I fear that we trend this way in the playoffs too.
  6. DesertBrew52
Stop. Playing. Yelich! RHP and Vaughn hits a homer. Lara hitting from the left, RBI Yelich offers nothing.
  7. DesertBrew52
Great idea. Think we can sell enough of them to buy out the Yeli contract?
  8. DesertBrew52
Dodgers, once again, purchasing their next World Series. Inevitable. Skubal.
  9. DesertBrew52
    The truth really hurts.
  10. DesertBrew52
Yes, they all come sit on his lap during a flight to hear his wisdom. Usually he sits in row 43. You can influence in the clubhouse and be retired. Like Uecker…
  11. DesertBrew52
The TV guys call him “the captain”. No sign that he does what captains do on or for a team.
  12. DesertBrew52
He’s not a team leader. He is not clutch. He either strikes out or grounds out. He is a DH who cannot hit. He is an embarrassment. And by proxy, Murphy and the front office who shield him. He is a millionaire many times over. Time to let go, Christian. I think I will be more productive in life and less angry if I just watch Brewer games where he is not in the lineup.
  13. DesertBrew52
    I blame Yelich.
  14. DesertBrew52
I like this idea. Frelick starts vs RHP and Chourio vs LHP? But, Murphy unlikely to see reason.
  15. DesertBrew52
Chourio obviously doesn’t like that he is being upstaged by Lara and Pratt. They are young too and seeing things just fine and they do not have nearly as many major league ABs. He’s not the super kid on the block anymore..
  16. DesertBrew52
RISP!! Need this! rbi groundout ok
  17. DesertBrew52
Chourio DP just to end our suffering. Thanks!
  18. DesertBrew52
It’s a sad irony. We are resting up our decent pitchers and acknowledge we can’t win against a quality pitcher with our bats. that’s why the WS will remain unattainable for us. Enjoy a playoff win and/or NL Central champs…our bat arsenal goes cold when things matter.
  19. DesertBrew52
    And he can’t catch either?
  20. DesertBrew52
Let’s go! We are very due to have a win vs Webb. So nice of Turang to get the no-hitter question squashed immediately. Pannone? Hoping… at least some contact on Webb pitches so far…
  21. DesertBrew52
This is the kind of game Brewers provide fans in the playoffs the closer we get to the WS.
  22. DesertBrew52
Nothing like another Bauers error to set us back… then redeemed hitting a single. Ok
  23. DesertBrew52
McCullers is not an answer…except to the Rockies’ prayers. 4 walks!
  24. DesertBrew52
    Can they coach Chourio??
  25. DesertBrew52
Pinch hitting with Vaughn here against a righty??? Lara is a switch hitter…
