  1. Probably looking at Pena. People are underestimating how much value Duran has and overestimating the value of Freddy.
  2. Soderstrom signing that extension obviously takes him out any trade conversations. Also, makes it silly that the A's don't spend any money between this and trading for McNeil.
  3. I hope the Bears win the next couple of games and give Caleb a big ole extension.
  4. What's your plan if Durbin stinks and/or Mitchell gets hurt again? We absolutely need more versatile depth on this team. The kids aren't ready yet on the hitting side. We continually develop bullpen guys (like the ones in the trade). Trading the old ones that are developing question marks is good business.
  5. Calling Schneider nothing is silly. Young, ascending player that can play outfield and infield is very valuable for a team like the Brewers. Plus it lowers payroll which you always love to talk about
  6. First mention of JD Thompson that I have seen. The system has a crazy amount of intruiging arms.
  7. Any interest in Rob Refsynder? He murders lhp and should be cheap. Also, did Ozuna fall off a cliff in 2025? His 2024 advanced stats are excellent. Yes, he sucks at defense.
  8. Brewers: Schneider (BTV: 16.6) Blue Jays: Megill (BTV: 9.6) Koenig (BTV: 9.1) Would also do something around Barger if they want. Supposedly the Jays are really interested in Bregman. This makes sense for the Jays as their BP could use some help.

    Solar

Has anyone added solar to their homes? I'm considering it right now and looking for more opinions. What did you go with? Who installed it? Are you happy with it? I'm in Wisconsin
  10. Baz has more control so he has more value but I would guess some of the guys that were traded were also discussed with the Brewers for Freddy.
  11. I like them picking up Lowe much more than signing Naylor or Schwarber for big money.
  12. Gotta assume Lowe is gonna DH for the Pirates?
  13. Unless some freshman wants to play for free, what is the point of recruiting high schoolers anymore in football? Not many freshman are ready to play and how many will just transfer when they are? If I were running the Badgers, I wouldn't bother paying coaches much or underclassman.
  14. https://x.com/hgomez27/status/2001397667822199044?s=61 Freddy is being looked at by a lot of teams
  15. The A's had to spend money last offseason to avoid a potential grivenance by the player's association. (see the Severino signing) Have you guys not paid attention to what free agents are getting this offseason? Houser just got 22 million.
  16. Why would they take a guy with 4 years of control, plays a premium position defensively well and is a great athlete? If the Brewers thought he was a sunk cost, they would have non tendered him. Around 2 million dollars is peanuts to every team in MLB. The minimum is almost 1 million now.
  17. Yeah, his defense is wooof
  18. Any interest in Met infielders? MLB Rumors reports Vientos, Acuna and Maurico are available. They are all coming off down seasons.
  19. How's the class of 10 year olds we are signing looking?
  20. 11 million a year for Houser? Wow.... good for him though
  21. I don't grade any off-season move entirely by itself. I think there is a good chance we bring someone in yet, probably by trade that will be an outfield option this season. With that said, I think Zerpa is gonna be very good for us.
  22. Right team, right outfielder at least
