  1. Yep, so disrespectful to Bfan. Your coverage of the team recently has been great, keep it up.
  2. The Brewers are concerned about their 2026 payroll, according to reporting from Will Sammon, Ken Rosenthal and Katie Woo of The Athletic. The reporters then wonder if this will lead the Brewers to more seriously consider trading right-hander Freddy Peralta. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/11/brewers-reportedly-concerned-about-payroll.html Discuss/complain
  3. FG likes our pitching more than just about any other ranking place.
  4. Yay more trade throw ins with little value
  5. You know it's the off-season when Scooter is throwing Perkins in every trade as a notable piece.
  6. Woody is great for the clubhouse. I hope we have some money left to spend after this.
  7. I guess he said Sproat or Tong which would make much more sense.
  8. I'd agree on Black if he was a good defender but unfortunately he is not.
  9. O'Hearn has been a consistent hitter for three years now.
  10. You're right! Subtract Perkins and add Quero. Vaughn was put in advantageous positions to rack up a lot of that WAR. I'm not paying nearly 8 million for a platoon first baseman with so so defense.
  11. Trade: Brewers: Smith (BTV: 6.6) Rangers: Megill (BTV: 16) I feel like this is the right time to move on from Trevor and Smith is a solid player. This looks like an overpay but I would still make this trade. Trade: Brewers: Buxton (BTV: 19) Twins: Wilken (BTV: 7.3) Collins (BTV: 13.3) The team needs more high end talent. Buxton is a fit here and would only be available because of injury risk. The Twins can promote Collins going home and get cheap production. Signing: O'Hearn- 2 years, 26 million. I do not fully trust Vaughn, especially at the expected price tag. Vaughn kills lefties and O'Hearn is better against RHP. (I am deferring 3 million a year) If Vaughn doesn't accept his same salary as 2025, I am non tendering him. Lineup: Frelick (RF) Chourio (LF) Yelich (DH) Buxton (CF) Contreras (C) Turang (2B) O'Hearn/Vaughn (1B) Durbin (3B) Smith (SS) Overall I like our ability to find pitching so we will heavily lean on that again in 2026. This team should provide another summer of entertainment. C: William Contreras ($11.10M) 1B: Andrew Vaughn ($5.80M) 2B: Brice Turang ($4.40M) 3B: Caleb Durbin ($0.80M) SS: Josh Smith ($2.5M) LF: Jackson Chourio ($7.25M) CF: Byron Buxton ($15.1M) RF: Sal Frelick ($0.80M) DH: Christian Yelich ($26.00M) OF: Blake Perkins ($0.80M) Utility: Joey Ortiz ($0.80M) OF: Garrett Mitchell ($1.00M) 1B/OF: Ryan O'Hearn ($10M) SP1: Freddy Peralta ($8.00M) SP2: Quinn Priester ($0.80M) SP3: Jacob Misiorowski ($0.80M) SP4: Logan Henderson ($0.80M) SP5: Chad Patrick ($0.80M) RP: DL Hall ($0.80M) RP: Abner Uribe ($0.80M) RP: Grant Anderson ($0.80M) RP: Jared Koenig ($0.80M) RP: Nick Mears ($1.60M) RP: Aaron Ashby ($5.70M) RP: Robert Gasser ($0.80M) RP: Tobias Myers ($0.80M) Payroll is 4.65% under budget
  12. I can't be the only one waiting for the expected JoeC rant.... there it is.
  13. Fair enough. I think he is a good target if he is open to a trade. He would fit in with our clubhouse and is an injury prone outfielder as a bonus!
  14. He hasn't possibly been open to a trade until now so there was nothing to discuss... Zero chance a guy like Pena would get moved in a trade for Buxton.
  15. Too much. Brewers: Buxton (BTV: 19) Twins: Adamczewski (BTV: 8.4) Adams (BTV: 6.8) Yoho (BTV: Unavailable) I don't like trading Adamczewski but I think we need to hang onto starting pitching.
  16. I would hope so otherwise.... yeah.....
  17. That's a game a top tier QB never loses. Love needs to progress more for us to have a shot.
  18. It makes sense if Turang could play SS. I'm not sure the team would value Marte as much considering he is old.
  19. BTV has him at 60.7 which is a big number. I would highly doubt that Arizona would need to eat salary. I'm assuming any Brewers offer starts with Pena.
  20. Not sure if this is a new report or repeating the one I posted earlier that they were ready to move on. I would be very interested in Marte assuming you don't have to overpay.
  21. Just saw Nuremberg. It was excellent and moving to be honest. Pretty much anything with Rami Malek in it is gold.
  22. You can tell the team puts Woody above most other guys by how he is treated. I doubt many other injured players get the contract they gave him and now to risk the QO just shows how highly he is thought of. I think there is a decent chance he accepts
  23. I'd like the team to make a trade for someone that might be a little overpaid but still a productive player. I'm not seeing a lot of realistic free agents (especially positional players) that will help us a lot.
