  1. I would want to make sure Skubal is as dominant first which shouldn't be a given
  2. If only a mod could help out with trolls, that would be neat
  3. You need one of these things. 1. A salary cap 2. Dramatically improved revenue sharing, especially broadcast. If you don't have that, I don't care about the rest.
  4. This better not turn into a PCA like curse
  5. There's also Patrick and Drohan that should be in the mix too.
  6. I didn't see the game but did read this thread. I always laugh when it's the same jackasses complaining about players that have good games.
  7. Considering rotations have 5 and sometimes 6 starters, you are being incredibly pedantic. While I won't disagree that Murph would have Peralta pitch in the playoffs before Henderson, you are disrespecting the historic start of Logan. "Logan Henderson has done something no pitcher ever has before in Major League Baseball history," Hogg wrote. "He's the first in Stathead's database (since 1898) to begin his career by making 10 straight starts with 2 or fewer runs allowed,"
  8. I did say that and if you are looking at stats/stuff this year, it's easily defensible. Translating that into "could barely make our rotation" is a huge stretch.
  9. Not one person in this thread said anything even close to this.
  10. Sanchez isn't getting DFA'ed anytime soon.
  11. Henderson has been absolutely dominant. Health is his only question mark at this point.
  12. I agree with the premise and idea. The easiest option would be playing Perk as he can still hit lhp a little. Lockridge will help with this as well.
  13. I wouldn't undo the Freddy trade right now. Jett Williams will hopefully make an impact yet this season and Freddy would be our #3 starter on this team, maybe #4.
  14. We won one of three at home without our top two pitchers going. No series in May is going to make or break us
  15. Skubal is in a class of his own for sure (who knows how this injury will change things) but it's been a long while since a top 25 prospect has been traded for a rental, much less adding more.
  16. To me, he is one of our top prospects and needs to catch more. A guy without a lot of experience catching isn't going to improve as quickly if he isn't catching. He is almost 23 and still in A ball, 50% isn't enough. I never said throwing in the towel so that is conjecture on your part. He may still have an MLB future at another position but the real value is as a catcher.
  17. What's the most we would be willing to give up for Skubal? Not my idea, but I saw ontheline a propsoal that was: Gasser, Thompson and Lara
  18. If Dinges isn't going to catch, he isn't nearly the prospect
  19. Crow has had 10 nice ML innings but 35 AAA mediocre ones this year. He will get more opportunities to pitch but there is a reason he is in AAA.
  20. He's only given up one run because he has extremely good stuff. His lack of control is the key part of the development that will hopefully come with experience.
  21. He's given up one run against the Champs in 4 innings so far. The overreactions are a little wild. It is clear that he has some development left but this is so much better than throwing out some washed up vet.
