It wouldn't shock me but he is learning a new position and has only had around 100 ABs in Appleton. I think he will move up around midseason.

There is reason to be excited, no doubt. I put a higher emphasis on swing mechanics than most so that is my concern with him. I encourage everyone to be more excited about Josh Adamczewski 😉

If he keeps it up, he might be worth 1.5 seasons of Jeremy Pena all by himself

There is more to Payne than his swing for sure, but I am a skeptic because of it. Put Adamczewski's swing on Payne's everything else and you have a superstar imo.
