  1. That's why you send out one of the best pitching coaches in baseball to get back on track.
  2. Old school baseball decisions like that don't make analytical sense. Extremely likely that Yoho can get that last out without burning through a Megill appearance............
  3. After reading the article on here that the Brewers should go "all in" and then they mention mostly meh rentals. I think the following trade would be a much more of an all in play. Brewers: M. Garcia (BTV: 20.5) Royals: Pratt (BTV: 28.8), Henderson (BTV: 12.9) The Royals have made a couple of small trades in hopes they can get back in the race. I don't see it from their end. We can plug Garcia in at SS and move Ortiz to a utility role that he may be better suited for. Pratt and Henderson are good prospects with bright futures but we need to win now.
  4. Every game is important. The problem is not getting much length from Mis. I would have given him another batter (and said to just throw fastballs) rather than worrying about increasing Megill's save total.
  5. You guys are being pretty rough on Yoho. He is a young guy with not a lot of experience.
  6. Ortiz just has a lot of non competitive at bats and it sticks out so much on this team.
  7. It is clear the Brewers brass does not hold as high of an opinion on Jadher as some of you. Stats wise he should have been in AA for a while but he didn't do what the organization wanted to make the move. I wish him well with the Rays. He along with Burke and Wichrowski appear to be the most likely to be traded imo.
  8. Thanks for the information. Assuming this is true, I am less annoyed. On a side note, 1.5 mil is insane money to me.
  9. If it is an organizational mandate, stuff like that is much more annoying to me than not spending more on free agents.
  10. Did this include the 5% overage? If not, that is not being entirely honest.
  11. The team hated Arenaimo so I was calling this for a while. Did not think it would be for Jansen tho.
  12. I would hope they wouldn't leave that much money on the table....
  13. This is not going how I expected at all.
  14. Those guys seem to be insurance if the higher drafted HS kids don't really want to sign. It makes sense to do that but the "less than zero chance" posts I saw was a little over the top.
  15. So many people said there was a zero chance of him signing. I will make sure to not listen to those people in the future. 😉
  16. These guys aren't going all in. My worry is the team pays a big price for a rental(s) that doesn't perform any better than what we have now.
  17. The Adames trade was good for both teams. I root for them when they are in the playoffs.
