    This is the first article/thread I have read, out of many, that said Williams isn't a shortstop. If he can't play there, my view changes a bit.

    I think they will delay bringing him up and he will be brought up for an injury ineffectiveness pretty early.

    The only thing I think the team may do is add another veteran starter. Lots of interesting names still left that need a home. Littell and Bassitt are likely to be durable enough to start pretty much every 5th day. Otherwise we might sign old friends Montgomery and Quintana. My pick would be to try and sign Littell on a reasonable 2 year contract.

    Lots of interesting guys still available. I suspect they will wait it out and pick one of them up like Quintana last year.

    I think they will play him all over. We haven't had a guy with this kind of versatility in a while.

    I think the only trade that everyone liked was the Contreras trade. I think once people dig into the guys we are getting a little more, they will understand why we did the trade.

    Williams hit 17 homers and plays shortstop. Do people not realize he is ranked #30 as a prospect and had a good year last year?

    Sproat was on the MLB team last year and Williams was in AAA. What the heck are you talking about?

    More short kings. It will be interesting where they plan on playing Williams.

    I didn't see the video but huge could mean lots of teams putting in bids? I trust Murray's sources when it comes to the team. At this point, I'd be surprised if Freddy is on the roster Opening Day

    Turang's power improved seemed to coincide with putting on a lot of muscle. Pratt seems pretty well built already so I'm not sure if he will have that in him.

    Pratt just seems like a guy that is willing to put in the work to get it done. I don't think he will be a star but I think he will be a solid MLB player.

    He had a 156 wRC+ in AA as a 21 year old. Cooper Pratt's wRC+ in AA was 106. For the "traditional" people, he hit .261/.363/.465 with 17 homers for an OPS of .828.

    For the guys talking about Williams being a Durbin clone... if you can get a guy that can play SS, 2nd, and CF and put up his stats, that is a good piece to pickup. As someone that has been pushing for someone that can be versatile in a Chris Taylor kind of way, Williams would be excellent. This team needs to limit ABs for the likes of Capra, Berroa, Dunn in future seasons. They also need to give their regulars more rest so they don't run of out steam in the playoffs.

    I get why Tong is a no go but Sproat and Williams seems pretty reasonable. I haven't done a major deep dive into Sproat but I'm not seeing the reason for hype on the surface

    Not super motivated to trade Peralta to the Dodgers but if they insist.... Dodgers: Peralta (BTV: 26) Brewers: River Ryan (BTV: 14.7) Alex Freeland (BTV: 5.2) Mike Sirota (BTV: 21.4) Would the Dodgers do it? Probably not. Do I really want to trade them Freddy? No.
