Yeah, it still makes sense at 10 years. With all of the electric demand coming online soon, I think it's a prudent decision
  2. How did Russia's market react before Crimea?

What company in the world would ever cover the costs for something that will be replaced in at least 30 years? The cost to remove and dispose is pretty minimal anyways. Even after 20 years, they should still be 90% as efficient according to the presentation I was given and what search tells me. Feel free to show me some specific math where this doesn't make sense which I think you are trying to imply here.
  4. Wilken showed a rocket arm in that video. I am hopeful he can stick at the hot corner.

They did an ROI calculation on the presentation. It looks like it will be paid for itself within 6-7 years. The warranty is 25 years and the life expectancy is 30 but that just means it won't be as efficient but will still produce energy.
  6. I think the idea behind pitching is looking towards the future. We have a ton of hitters about to hit AAA that have a real shot at being MLB regulars. We have learned how many pitchers we need to get through a season and while we have some promising arms, our "next wave" is mostly in A ball.

Put a deposit down today on a system. This will be a good long term investment.
  8. The Texans need a quarterback
  9. Not long ago he mentioned the Padres were pushing hard for Freddy. I think he isn't a nobody but isn't always reliable.
  10. Any interest in Ryan Jeffers from Minnesota? He is basically a one year contract and he pounds lefties. The Twins just signed Caratini.
  11. So many teams mentioned and so much smoke would seem like he will get traded
  12. Maybe you have the ability to "Franchise" a player like in the NFL.
  13. I will enjoy this season because there might not be baseball for a while afterwards
  14. I guess I am less worried about getting guys that could help us this year. Get the best players available. There are lots of interesting players left in free agency that we could maybe dip into with that money.
  15. Breaking should never be used for any long snapper.... ever
  16. Not sure how it's possible that Fischer is the number one 3rd base prospect in the minors.
  17. The team probably needs around 10 starters to get through a season.
  18. He struggled mightily on the defensive end in 2025. They might move him to CF.
  19. I would be satisfied with that package.
  20. If it was 2010, this would still be a great argument. You have to dig deeper into the numbers.
  21. I should have quoted but I was responding to the post before mine
  22. If you could get Nelson and Lawlar from the Dbacks, I highly assume that trade would have been done already.
  23. I'm annoyed that there is a tinge of 2026 payroll concerns mentioned as to why he will be moved. Gil could be a part of the trade but I would hope the rest of the return would be more interesting
