    I've noticed your Rakuten avatar and figured it was only a matter of time before you'd chime in. I've always thought that 'Maruchan' is to 'ramen' as 'White Castle Sliders' is to 'juicy all-American hamburger'. i like the way you put it. Maruchan, American, ramen is total crap. Actual ramen is so damn good........(going into homer esque dream state)

    I say Brussels I have visited Sydney and its a nice place. Great weather/beaches/etc... However, there really isnt that much to do as far as visiting other places. Brussles will offer the opportunity to do random things in ramdom countries on a whim. If you are interested in Australia I would reccomend Tales from a Sun Burned Country by Bill Bryson.

    ? I'm sorry kid, didn't know there wasn't enough light there for you. What the heck. Does he know anything about modesty? That sure sounds an awful lot like the guy who showed up the Astros. I'm not impressed with that quote at all. What? Talk about reading to much into a comment. Afterall, who WOULD prefer to share it. Its the obvious sarcastic remark to make about sharing a cover.

    Darryl Strawberry hit 3 homeruns the night I was there and nearly had a fourth. The office crowd was high on Darryl and the yanks. Great atmosphere and a wonderful stadium (But I still hate them)

    I just want to plug actual Japanese ramen. Im certain that if most people had the real mccoy they would love it. Thick noodles, in a pork borth with slow roasted pork and topped with butter and corn........it is the best after drinking food.

    Rakuten Eagles! located in Sendai, Japan. My favorite team in Japan! Last year they, for the first time, finished in NOT last place! Now its on to NOT second to last place! (team is only 4yrs old)

    I would be in for a league. Preferably, of the non-fanatical type. I love checking the stats but I would like to get in with a group that is a bit more casual. (ie. jobs/family/time on the weekends/after work but not constant monitoring)

    As someone that has studied abroad(UK) and worked in another country (Japan) I do not think you have a choice. You may not realize this but a 10 years from now your life will be very different than it is now. assorted complications....Essentially, you have one chance to go abroad and take a chance on something. If you do not study/go abroad now you may never get the opportunity back. I struggled with going abroad while I was in college and can honestly say I have NO regrets. Dont worry about money..it comes and goes...worry about what will enrich your life.
