  1. It must be nice to have a 1st baseman that actually hits home runs from time to time.

  3. Man, that bullpen is bad. You think it would drive a manager to drink...and drive.

  6. If the Brewers batting average with RISP was 20 points higher they would have a little "x" by their name in the standings: clinched division title. I joke, of course. Of the Brewers 58 losses this year, it seems like they have rarely been blown out of the park. It's either a) leave an army of runners on base or b) have the bullpen blow the game. Sprinkle in some crappy defense and a pinch of questionable baserunning and you have yourself a recipe for some really frustrating losses. That being said, they still have a 4 1/2 game lead and with the Padres and Reds coming to town they can get healthy again.
  7. c'mon cameron. swing the fricken bat. you were lucky you weren't rung up on the pitch before that one.
  8. Prince might finally get to bat against a righty.
  9. Unlike yesterday, it would be nice to see the Brewer's offense put up a fight.
  10. Can we play the Pirates some more? We look good against them.
  11. 30 pitches and one run. sheesh.
  12. I'm still amazed that David Riske is a major-league pitcher. Whenever I watch him pitch, I am amazed that he can get guys out with nothing that resembles a really good pitch.
  13. I lived in Tampa in the late 80's and went to a Bucs/Packers game one year. There had to be 25,000 people at the game and about 20,000 were Packer fans. Nobody even talked about the Bucaneers back then. Sure, they sucked, but it was all Tampa had as a major sports franchise. I never considered the city to be a great sports town. In their defense, the stadium looks like the Metrodome's ugly cousin.
  14. Nice win Crew! Sure would be nice if we could bury them tomorrow and end this Cardinal nuisance.
  15. Bill Hall should just stay in St. Louis and ask Tony L. if he can be a 9th inning pinch hit guy.
  16. Just 30 pages of Cards fans and Cubs fans cutting each other down. It was pretty boring. I don't even know if anyone was watching the game.
  17. Whew! Seems like Sheets is getting out of jams by the skin of his teeth.
  18. Sheets gets ahead of Pujols 0-2 and then throws 4 balls not even close to the strike zone. That's vintage Suppan.
  19. How come Trenni looks so excited when she gets to interview JJ?
  20. Wow, what a turnaround in the last 10 minutes!!!
  21. G. Mota might have a say about that!!!!!!!
  22. I think that may the most important factor in the Brewers decision for second base next year. Weeks will make somewhere between 1 and 2 million next year. The Brewers will probably just keep him and cross their fingers.
  23. Wow, three hits for the Cubs against the Reds. I think if the Reds did that to the Brewers tonight we'd all be puking right now.
