Maybe the Brewers can make an enticing package this off-season with their extra starters. A legitimate outfielder to replace the Jenkins/Mench fiasco would be wonderful.
I watch about 1 minute of sportscenter a month. This month happened to be when they had this segment on. I almost threw up my breakfast. I think I'm going to have to cut back to 30 seconds a month.
I was in St. Louis last year for a week in late July or early August. They has a pretty comfortable lead, and yet their sports talk shows went 24-7 on how bad the Cards were playing. I was amazed. I don't think sports fans are ever truly happy.
How is this team suppose to compete in September and October when they choke away games to crappy teams in July? Oh, and Jenkins, retire. You suck. For the first time this year, I'm starting to think this isn't our year.
Jenkins doesn't even give himself a chance. He swings a crap, so they keep throwing it to him. Even his little line drive to Rolen was a defensive swing because he'd already put himself in a hole. One would think that Jenkin's approach at the plate would improve as he ages, but it hasn't. He still looks like a flippin' rookie up there half the time.
The second pitch to Braun was behind his back. Pitches 3 and 4 caused Braun to jump out of the way. Davey Nelson thought the pitch behind Braun's back was meant to be a brush back pitch.
