  1. The Dbacks, with 1 out and the bases loaded, strike out twice to end the inning. I guess they're choking. The Dbacks were batting a ridiculous .396 as a team with the bases loaded so far this year. 3-0 Dodgers.
  2. Dbacks with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 6th. LA making a pitching change.
  3. Dana Eveland has the Dbacks shut on just two hits through five innings. 3-0 Dodgers.
  4. I worked in Tampa a few decades ago, and everyone I worked with was from somewhere else. I think that's part of their problem.
  5. What is he waiting for? RR has done some crappy managing at points this year, but this game takes the cake. Twenty guys available in the pen and he leaves this bum out there.
  6. My god, we're relying on a good outing by Dana Eveland. The Dbacks/Dodgers game is the free game of the day on MLB.com.
  7. Oh well. Maybe the Dodgers will bail them out tonight.
  8. I just turned the game on and I find out that Braun's not playing and FDLCruz is on the mound. Doesn't RR give a rat's ass if the Brewers win this game? Why give Braun a day off? They had two days off a few weeks ago. One last week and two more at the end of this week. Give Bettancourt a day off instead (or 8).
  9. The defeat also eliminated the Cardinals from the Central Division race and made the Milwaukee Brewers the first team to win divisional championships in both leagues. Read more: http://www.stltoday.com/s...f6878.html#ixzz1YqGxgs2z
  10. It's about time that the Brewers could make the playoffs without going to the last day of the season http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. zero, zilch, nada, 0
  12. Winning 6 in a row against the Cubs and Astros is not such a tall order. The Brewers won 15 in a row against those two over a 1 month span recently. That's why the Brewers have to play like the Cardinals are going to win the rest of their games. If the Brewers lose Friday's game, the noose will get tighter around their neck for each subsequent game.
  13. I can't see how the Braves can hold of the Cardinals now. Their ship is sinking too fast. Plus, they have to go in a play a hot Washington team while the Cards get the Cubs and Astros to finish the season.
  14. I wish the Brewers could justify the commercial's existence by actually qualifying for the playoffs.
  15. I would think that Halliday has something to play for. He's 2 wins shy of 20.
  16. Did anyone tell the Brewers that this is Casey Coleman, who is 2-8 with a 6.90 ERA?
  17. Is it just me, or does the Phillies' offense suck?
  18. Narveson's wheels are falling off (heard that before). I hope RR has a short leash.
  19. I hated Roy Howell. What did you bring his name up?
  20. http://images.yuku.com/image/png/15525e09108787a68b1ff2e4ad4ff7428b22e8f_t.jpg
  21. This weekend against the Reds: Arroyo and his 40 HR's allowed and a 5.5+ ERA. Volquez who was sent down to the minors this year. Willis who is 0-6. If the Brewers can't manage to win at least 2 of these games, then they probably don't deserve a spot in the playoffs.
  22. Yeah,, there really is no reason to panic about the division. But, this team is flat out boring. The Brewers are driving towards only their 2nd division title in FORTY years and they're basically unwatchable right now. Miller Park sounded like the public library last night. It probably would have been a good place to study for an exam.
