  1. Rad.. I'll check those out. I own all those other albums besides Portishead action. It's odd, I thought I was the only one to really like Tricky and Massive Attack, not much of a scene here in the states. Still mad Tricky couldn't get into the states due to some "Visa" issue few years back.
  2. Nope never have! I became a triphop an probably around 2002ish, post it's hipness. Well I'll download it and check em out.. make a triphop compilation!
  3. Are you saying Yost is a Coffee Hunting Zombie?
  4. well, never listened to em. But I do like Trip Hop, I'm a big fan of Tricky and Massive Attack.
  5. Have we just discovered FTJs secret? He's a Vampire Zombie with a undead lust for doughnuts?
  6. We may need some better definition of which kind of zombies we are fighting. So we'll just go with FTJ nuclear waste zombies, they are slow zombies but with unholy undead zombie strength. These are not the virus infected fast zombies as seen in recent movies. These zombies are lumbering around with the unquenchable lust for human brains. Infection is only spread by a non-fatal bite by said zombie. Get a finger chewed off by zombie, you are boned!
  7. Ha and That... I guess the question is, since Zombies and Vampires pray on the living nothing would happen? Now since Vampires can get stronger by biting other vampires, aka.. bite Dracula you inherit all his powers, if a Zombie bit another Zombie does the same undead rules apply?
  8. http://mvn.com/mlb-brewers/2008/04/27/bush-vs-parra-why-the-brewers-messed-up/ Sums up part of my feelings why this is such a bad move by the FO.
  9. Ohh yeah! I remember the Box. I watched Vanilla Ice do his thang..... ohhh god...
  10. That's a good suggestion bjkrautk. But I don't currently own a aluminum bat. I only have 2 wood bats. As of now, Hart bat will probably hit more Zombies but not inflict as much damage. Hall bat would do more damage, but I may be prone to missing zombies. But when I hit them, I'll crush them.
  11. So, over lunch today, a few co-workers and I got into some weird conversation about a Zombie invasion and how we would defend ourselves. I do not have a gun, nor a full sized axe, or any kind of sword, all I have are kitchen knives (They would leave me vulnerable to the reach of a zombie and their undead strength) and 2 Baseball bats. But these bats are signed. So.. if their was a Zombie invasion, which of my two bats would be the best Option? Bat 1) Slatebat Factory (Looks like Dillons bat) signed by Corey Hart. (I won this for the Trivia question 2 years ago) Bat 2) Lousville Slugger signed by Bill Hall.
  12. I hate you! congrats dude.. what's it like being liquid?
  13. I think that's the most baffling thing. Yost and the FO have constantly this season said it's all about production. About what "you are doing for the team now". And it sure seems that Turnbow isn't doing anything for the team, so why again does he have a job? Turnbow has a full 3.00 WHIP. That means he on average puts up 3 runners on base during each IP. Bush has a 1.46 WHIP. Half as bad as Turnbow. So which case is it Yost/FO, is it who's producing now or is it "my pet Turnbow"? I'm frustrated with the decision on keeping Turnbow and sending a serviceable player down.
  14. I'm with Decktard on this. I find loge the best, the Club level can feel a bit "stuffy" at times, it does have way better bathrooms though, and is A/C'd during the summer months. But I got yelled at once up there for standing up in the 9th with 2 outs up a run when our closer was closing to sit down. That turned me off.
  15. I used to take Allegra when it was prescription. Was the only one that wouldn't over dry me and make me feel "medicine heady". I should go back to the doctor and get new a prescription.
  16. Before I can say that it makes the starting rotation stronger, Parra has to go deeper into games. Pitching only 5 IP doesn't make us a better ball club. DBow can easily be waived.
  17. This is a stupid waiver. How does Turnbow continue to have a job?
  18. But on some level it is, they brought up another pitcher (Stetter) when Sheets was "uncertain". They could have DL'd Sheets to free up a slot for a Bench player causing him to miss 2 games. I think you are missing the point FTJ is making. And yes, I think it's hurting us. The lack of options to PH is annoying.
  19. Ugh.. i'm going to the game (By myself.. I'm a winner!). I expect lots of swinging Ks and weak sauce line drive outs.
  20. Dear Manny, Use your left handiness and eat some inning. I will be disappointed in you if you go only 5 IP again. Kisses, Aaron
  21. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm curious why Illinois high school students chose Miller Park for their senior trip? Who knows, maybe the experience will convert a few Cubs fans! MP Tickets are way cheaper the Wrigley. That's probably why. It'll probably cost you 50+ dollars a seat in Wrigley, and what.. for decent seats 26 in MP? Anyways, go Soup! # THAT MEAT! Eat up some innings and let our massively large BP rest a bit.
  22. I've tried two styles of weight loss pills. Granted I forgot the names, but the first one was horrible. It caused me to get a very very rapid heart beat, a punchy feeling, and I felt really warm. It was rather scary actually. I took a half dose, I wonder what would have happened if I took a full. (It was orange peel based) The second one was some thing that made me feel.. euphoric and gave me cotton mouth. It definitely suppressed my desire to eat. But seeing as it's not regulated, who knows what the hell was in it.
  23. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' My family!
  24. No. Turnbow has to EARN a spot in a tight game by throwing good ball in junk innings. Yost doesn't owe him anything, DBow needs to earn confidence.
  25. I don't buy it. There are plenty of Ned realists here who are turning to the Yost hate. The loss can't be entirely blamed on Ned, but, Neds entire job is to maximize his options and leverage the teams assets to give us the best possible situation and our best chances. So lets review.. Hart was SENT on contact and into a what.. 1 - 5 - 1 - 5 FC? With one out.. that was a completely overly aggressive out. Gross's over aggressive 3B FC out during the Kendall AB. Then Turnbow. Hart gave up a run via na error. That can't be pined on Yost. But when you are tied in the 9th. And have a 14 pitcher roster, why do you go to the person who hasn't shown to be able to pitch effectively for awhile now? There are plenty of other options, including a well rested Riske.
