    JJ Hardy has an OPS of 3.000 against Snell! (Don't look at the sample size) Braun and Fielder rack pretty well again him as well (don't look at the sample size) So.. Sheeters, you made my birthday sad by losing. I was drunk enough to not remember most of it. But lets win us a game.

    I wasn't concerned to much. 5 Run lead, and 2 on, if they got another base runner on then maybe my blood pressure would go out. What more got the BP up was even in junk innings, things were pretty ineffective. That is, unless Gagne was trying some new pitches out and just got burnt.

    What the.. Villy out of the rotation? McClung for a start? I just don't see he has enough tools to be a starter. guess we'll find out.

    Bill Hall has a 1.714 OPS vs. Maholm, with ZERO strike outs (I know novel idea). Would be nice to see Billy get that average up. Stop the skid Parra. Time to bounce back, seriously, I'd like to max out my CC on playoff tickets. And you aren't allowing me to live the American dream.

    Seeing as I'm a season ticket holder newbie, yes I'll be renewing my tickets for next year. But maybe downgrading my tickets and walking down to better seats as obviously they'll be available. And perhaps getting rid of my extra ticket, might be a hard sell if things continue the way they are.

    Here's a silver lining. I assume that after being in last place we'll lose a fair amount of the fan base who are pretty casual fans. 1) Easier access to tickets. 2) Easier access to walking down to better tickets. 3) No more 5x duplicate posts of the same things. 4) Demise of Yost? 6) Cheaper discounted Brewer gears a Kohls, for when they stop moving off the shelves. 7) ??? 8) Profit.

    But NL teams would be forced to consume options while AL teams don't have to. A better compromise would be to allow NL teams to call up DH from the minors with out consuming an option.

    If the Rats can hold on, we are only 1 game up over Pirates. We could be pretty much in the cellar if we stink it up while on glorious FOX OTA HD.

    I think Yoga should be signed as well, but I wouldn't offer an extension till we make sure his ACL tear hasn't changed any mechanics in his delivery. I figure he might not be trusting of the knee a bit.

    I'm with Jim. Way to much speculation on his personal life, and his relationship with the team. Perhaps Boras is causing problems with the field extension. Who knows. Prince seems like a good enough guy from interviews. He did do something that no other guy did before, and that's hit 50 HR at his age. That deserves some kind of reward. the other question the club has to answer before locking him up to a long deal is. It breaks my heart to say it, but how long will we continue to have prince since he's a defensive liablity and we don't have the DH spot to hide him? We also have LaPorta in the wings who might be able to make a big splash in 1B. So as far as we know, DM is causing the drama by low balling prince in extension offers due to him being gun shy on how long we can keep prince at first.

    Bummer. I will admit a little of me misses rain outs and then going to double headers.

    I think Dillon DHing is to draw walks. Dice K has about 6 BB/9. His BABIP is pretty good, but it's kind of like he's fooling around with a loaded gun. Hopefully we can turn the walks into runs.

    you'll need a third party app. I use ephPod from www.ephpod.com It'll allow you to take songs off the pod and back onto your PC and then you can reimport it into iTunes.

    I assume the Olympic competition committee evaluated the carbon fiber replacement legs for any semblance of competitive advantage. So I have no issue with him racing in the Olympics. My assumption (yeah I know) is that the committee will limit mechnical advantages to what the normal advantage of normal limbs would be.

    Interesting idea. I do think the Crew will be in not a very good situation if Gagne continues to be ineffective. That is unless we can make him mop up, or he becomes a more reasonable middle reliever. 10Mill is a lot to eat, but at least they ate it for Turnbow. Lets hope DMs relieve buying turns it around. My theory, Yost drank 25 cups of coffee and went into a Caffeine induced hallucination and thought Gagne was talking his way back into the rotation, but in reality, it turns out he was mumbling incoherently to mop in the janitors closet.
