Prince has hit 1 Home run at this point last year. He hit only 2 in 18 games. A slow start more probably has to be that he's not seeing the ball well yet, then "weakness" from being a vegetarianism. Do you guys HONESTLY think that Prince isn't working with a nutritionist to ensure he's getting his protein? Hell, Tofu will give you what 6 of the 7 required protein you get from meat, you just have to subsidize one protein with things like fish oil. Just because he doesn't eat meat doesn't mean he's going to be a wuss, or that he's going to be weak. People blame his "lack of power" to anything we notice that's different. Hey he ate meat last year, and doesn't now and he's not racking like he did at the end of the season. I give massive Kudos to prince for taking a ethical stance and not being preachy about it. Keep it up big guy. Not to double post, but to say you lost all your weight and power from not eating meat doesnt' carry much weight to me. How did you plan to manage your protein? Did you supplement your missing protein with Tofu/Lentils supplements? It seems to me like you didn't plan enough to ensure you stuck to a diet that was conducive to your needs to stay bigger and more power. Simply stop eating meat with out taking a good look at how you will replace the nutrients seems irresponsible. Before you can claim power loss, lets discuss your diet, and lets find out how Prince is dealing with it. I'm certain that he's taking steps to ensure that he won't lose protein or power. I mean if he's irresponsible he'll lose millions, I'm sure seeing dietitian is on his list of things to do.
