  1. Guess I'll figure out if I'm driving to work in Watertown or working from home in the morning. Doesn't look to good with the most recent forecast.
  2. I generally don't boo the home team at all. I boo'd Mench (My hate made him strong) and some Yost decisions. I find the booing the home team seems counter intuitive, but have on occasion expressed my dislike of an event with an occasional boo. Some times they need to know what they did was wrong, if someones not hustling down 1st, or makes a dumb decision then booing is acceptable to me. Just as if someone makes a great hustle play, a great decision they deserve to be cheered. Heckling is fine to me, as long as it's not the lame " You Suck" chant, clean and funny. But please, don't tell anyone how to be a fan. I know we all have our conception of what a "good fan" is, but not everyone is going to abide by it.
  3. When they played the video all 7 of us at the game listened very intently on it. And it was slopper. How many versions of that animation were played during the existence of the team?
  4. It was slopper totally. It did seem to be a slightly different video though then I remember (Maybe it was older then the one I remember as a child). I remember the guy having nachos and a load of beers trying to get into the stands.
  5. Do they do anything right now to relieve the stagnant air? Right now when they close the roof, it gets so humid and their is zero air flow. That's what makes it the worse, it feels like zero air is being exchanged with the outside world. Even if it took 2 hours to properly cool the stadium to a 70, anything.. and I mean anything to help remove the humidty in that place slightly would be a great addition.
  6. Hillarious. Throw on a steal to no one. Then a Pass ball scoring a run. Well done Cubs.
  7. 25 Cups of coffee a day makes you insane?
  8. Offfft... And Pie, stop bouncing around celebrating, your boys might get tangled again.
  9. Well if Estrada was wtill with us he'd maybe be getting into 2nd right about....... wait for it.... wait for it.... now.
  10. Fukudome does have a pretty nice arm. And at least the announcers haven't been dissing the Brewers.. respect finally?
  11. Last year there were grills going at around 7 or 8am. 16 of us intend to tailgate the opening of the parking lot. We'll be there at 7. It's like Xmas/Birthday/Easter all crammed into one day. the only day I look forward to each year.
  12. My guess is if you don't get there really early, good luck getting into Fridays. Personally the group I'm going with, we intend to watch up to half time. Go intot he game, watch from the concourse and a few portable TVs. I think we may overdose on sports.
  13. Argh! Why on earth did I sign up for Fridays game a few months back instead of Saturdays game? Now I have a massive conflict of interest between Bucky and Exhibition Crew. Italian better win!
  14. Is it turned on now? I could check it out with ye'iPhone (Yes I'm a hipster) on Friday.
  15. dont' get the Chocolate. We have Verizon from work and on of our VPs wanted a Chocolate, thing broke after a bit. The touch pad leaves much to be desired. We've recently got a few enVs, they are pretty nice so far.
  16. Man playoff hockey is awesome! I remember the Roy - Osgood fight as well, the first time the Avs/Wings meet in the regular season after Lemueix hit into the boards was great! I forgot how many penalty minutes, but I think each team had 1 guy on the bench. Fighting is understood in hockey, if you cheap shot our guy, you taunt us, we are going to put you in place. Now cheap shots, that's not cool but I think other goalie knew what was going to happen. It wasn't like Bertuzzis 100% inexcusable from behind mauling that ended a career. Saying that, getting your goal tender kicked out for Instigating doesn't seem like sound coaching Patrick.
  17. Vargas had a big drag on the relief as he couldn't go deep. But wow.. depth drying up. Sheets _HAS_ to stay Healthy this year now.
  18. Being glad someone gets hurt is horrible. I wish nothing but good luck for Cappy. RoCo - You are right, but also these guys can spend 8 hours a day rehabing while the rest of work. So I think rehab is a little different for us then them. BTW, what happened that caused you to get TJ?
  19. 2. Some crappy BBQ Sauce that I never bothered to throw out, and Sweet Baby Rays - Honey.
  20. I have a man crush on Branyan since that 3 home run (I think it was 3) game against the Cubs. Gave me a chance to talk smack.. to bad we lost.. but you made me proud Russell!
  21. that was a crazy finish. Hurts my bracket, but not as much as Marquette beating Kentucky (Sorry, I thought James would have a bad day)
  22. Awesome! Congrats guys! Thanks for doing this Pedro.
  23. For those with sensitive eyes. The article does contain some words that are banned on this site. Pretty good though, I enjoyed the Hart comment as well!
  24. Sad day for science I'd say.. you need someone with big bold dreams to keep people pushing. Plus the 2001 / 2010 stuff was great!
  25. The DRays are possibly interested in Gross. (Stole from bcb) http://mvn.com/mlb-rays/2008/03/17/kazmir-headed-for-dl-plus-possible-trade-candidates/ I know that DM has a man crush on Kapler, so perhaps a trade is in the works and my beloved Gabe Gross will be a Devil Ray, freeing up a spot for Kapler/Dillon.
