  1. Had a timeout to figure out a play for 3rd down and goal and you came up with that hot garbage?
  2. Gotta score the TD here and kick the PAT. Just tie for now. But you can’t settle for 3.
  3. You knew the Chiefs were going to go down 60 yards like a hot knife through butter after that. And of course they effortlessly get the 2.
  4. This is why people think it’s rigged for KC. What absolute hot garbage.
  5. Not necessarily without the dive.
  6. Well when it’s 4th down, it’s as good as a fumble anyway if you don’t get the yardage …
  7. He 100% had the first down and then they inched the spot back for absolutely no reason, Allen broke the plane of the 40, easily.
  8. The irony is going to be pretty rich hearing Kansas City cry about the officials if they lose today.
  9. Maybe you should stop sneaking to the left when they’re ready for it every single time.
  10. That was such an amazing effort by James Cook to break the plane and not lose possession.
  11. Only Kansas City can gain a point by jumping offsides.
  12. Yeah, there’s nothing unlucky or injury related about why we lost that game. We flat out blew it. The defense played their rear ends off and we still blew it. All we had to do with minutes left was not get our punt blocked and have it returned for a touchdown and we had it blocked and returned for a touchdown. It’s a painful game to even think about. But in no world have I ever thought we lost that game because of injuries.
  13. We can basically wash our hands clean of the last 4 years of losses if we are going to bemoan the bad luck of losing any game that we didn’t have one of David Bahktiari or Jaire Alexander available.
  14. Kansas City has been without their #1 wide receiver for almost the entire season this season. Why do we do this? Why do we need to feel the need to find an excuse for every failure from the last 30 years and rationalize that things would have been different if A and B hadn’t happened?
  15. It’s dumb that you can just blatantly run the game clock down to the 2 minute warning when the play clock is clearly going to hit :00 at 2:01. Why don’t they enforce the play clock as precisely as any other timing in the game?
  16. What a stupid challenge by McDermott. It’s basically a tie of possession which is going to go to Worthy and even if you somehow get the call they’re just going to enforce the penalty which will only mean that they can burn more clock before you get the ball back for one more shot before halftime.
  17. McDermott before today’s game: “We’re just focused on playing a good, clean game.” Yeah, our coach likes to sing that song, too.
  18. And then he threads the needle on an absolute dime on 3rd and 13.
  19. Allen is just not playing a clean game at all.
  20. I remember the year the Packers won the Super Bowl, they lost Charles Woodson to a broken collarbone relatively early in the Super Bowl, but they preserved and won it. In fact, they dealt with major injury problems that season. If injuries will forever be our crutch for why we fell short, we’re never going to see the Packers in a Super Bowl again in our lifetimes.
  21. Every team has to deal with injuries on the journeys. They won a Super Bowl with Nick freaking Foles as their starting quarterback.
  22. McDermott is going to end up losing his job for the same reason that Matt Lafleur will one day. Great regular season teams that can never get over the last hump.
  23. Looks like another vomit worthy Super Bowl incoming.
  24. If Josh Allen’s first two throws are any omen for how this game is going to go, it’s not going to be any prettier than the first game.
  25. They also had the ball at the 1 yard line with a play that is successful a vast majority of the time. I just don’t think you’re looking at all the context here either. Guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I don’t think you can argue that the 2nd quarter is too early to chance points though and then say a 9 point lead in the 2nd quarter is a big deal. I don’t think any of this is wildly consequential either way, honestly.
