    Weeks, Hall, Jenkins, Prince, Koskie, Miller, and Clark are all slumping. Gross and Lee are the only ones hitting worth anything right now. It doesn't look good.

    All I want in the 3rd is a run. Just something to give us some remote hope of winning this game. We need this one badly. Cannot afford to get swept by the Twinkies and let .500 start slipping away again. Not if we wish to contend in the 2nd half.

    Well, for those that think that our .249 slugger with 7 HR's is going to carry the team, now would be a great time to start, because right now, this series has sweep written all over it.

    Urggh...rough first inning for Cappy. Hate to see an 0-2 HBP, and a garbage infield single by Mauer do the damage. I hate our shifts on Mauer. He's a pure spray hitter. There's no logic.

    Seriously, how often do we put a runner at 2nd with no one out and get nothing? It is EXPECTED now. That is not good.

    Definitely nice to see Ned get mad. As far as the runner beating out the throw, I assume you must be referring to the Twins runner, because Weeks was out easily.

    Barnwell is hereby dubbed the "Chad Moeller" of shortstops.

    Considering Weeks was out by about a half step, I'd have to say that was a makeup call.
