  1. Literally cost us 4 points because of where he put his hand down. Inexcusable.
  2. Quay isn't good. That drive was way too easy for the Titans.
  3. Gary finally gets to the QB and Preston is lined up offsides. Awful,
  4. Are Preston Smith and Rashan Gary even playing this season? It's going to be hard for the Packer defense to be successful with the amount of time in the pocket that the pass rush is allowing opposing QB's so far.
  5. Bauers has no business being on the postseason roster, and I fear he will be. It's cool that he got his big moment a few days ago, but it's between him and Andruw Monasterio for worst hitter on the team. Difference is they've been smart enough not to put a bat in Monasterio's hands 350 times like they have with Bauers.
  6. You don't put out a lineup with Rhys Hoskins hitting #2 and Chourio and Contreras off if you're playing for anything. I think this lineup is the official white flag on the pursuit of a top 2 seed. Which, is probably the right call. Haven't gone full coast yet but I suspect by Monday you'll see a lot of Collins and Monasterio in the lineup.
  7. They also elevated Clifford from the PS, so I think it's nearly certain that Love isn't playing.
  8. Not to straight-up call Herget a sacrificial lamb, but I'm guessing just on timing and looking at a potential postseason roster that Herget's role in this last week plus is to chew up as many innings as possible and provide as much rest as possible for the pitchers on this team who are going to be key to winning October baseball games for us and desperately need the rest. Herget, Milner, and maybe even Colin Rea should be going as much as possible down the stretch because they likely won't be needed after that.
  9. Fears of Arizona are exaggerated IMO. We're barely a week removed from a near-sweep of them on their field, a sweep we probably would have had if Murphy lets Devin pitch in extras. Yeah, their lineup is great but you can get to their pitching. We'll have to be very tactical about our pitching and not try to get too much out of our starters. Probably a moot point anyway as the NL East 2nd place team seems like the more likely matchup. There is no easy out to hope for. The preferred matchup for this round was a bye and it doesn't look like it'll happen. So we'll have to play a good 2-3 games to move on no matter the opponent.
  10. Braves are just about down and out. They get a shot at the Mets yet, and they need a sweep.
  11. Isaac Collins and whoever the other guy named Brewer was that we had on our roster for a week or two earlier this month are harsh reminders that not everyone has the depth of big market teams like the Dodgers.
  12. I don't know if that's good or bad. The NL is loaded this year. No 83-85 win teams sneaking in.
  13. Or just, you know, get nothing at all.
  14. Let's get another big inning ...
  15. Well this game went back to where it was in a hurry.
  16. Best offense in baseball, hands down. But, these are going to be the kinds of teams we need to beat to play past game's 163 and 164.
  17. DL Hall is a frustrating dude. There's times when he feels like our best pitcher and times when it's like what did we ever see in this guy. Like a modern day Manny Parra.
  18. I totally feel like the best is ahead in '25 and behind and this year is still kind of house money. But I really, really want to at least get to the NLDS and give the Phils or Dodgers a challenging series. I'm not ready for another quick exit and I think we need that experience.
  19. I don't think there's anything to freak out about. It's just becoming reality that they will be playing in the Wild Card round and there's a really good chance that they'll never make it out on the road for the NLDS.
  20. I truly hope this isn't the case, but in some ways, Wednesday felt like the celebration of the season. I don't know if these guys really believe that they're going anywhere beyond that this year.
  21. Will you still be ok with it if they get swept in 2 games in the WC round?
  22. If they had nothing on the line, I'd have no issue. And I know the chances aren't great. But when a win would have brought you within 2 games of both teams you're chasing with 9 to play and you're just treating it like a throwaway game because you had to party last night? Yeah, that doesn't sit well with me.
  23. Stop acting like you won the World Series every year that you win the division and getting too damn hungover the next day to even compete in a game that you still have things on the line. It's not a great look. I think we have been here enough for us not to act like our season is complete every time we get here.
  24. Judging by their performance and preparation tonight, the Brewers don't seem to think they have any realistic chance of catching the Dodgers or Phillies.
  25. Brewers: "Do you think we can get any hel-" Marlins: "Yeah I'm thinking no."
