  1. Well, now it's another blowout loss.
  2. Such a white flag move to punt near midfield down double digits with 7 minutes left.
  3. Muffed punt was the turning point of the game. Huge swing.
  4. I wish we dialed up a call like that on 4th and 1.
  5. Well, it was a nice 1st half, but definitely feels like USC is going to pull away now.
  6. Just getting killed on 3rd and long.
  7. Had good control of this game and just gifted the Trojans 7 points to start the second half.
  8. I hope I don't think of this post in 4 games after we play our last two regular season games and then our first two games of a best of three series in Milwaukee.
  9. To be fair to Milner on that last run, Turang needs to make that catch.
  10. Yeah, I see this a lot about Peralta and I'm not sure who you're trusting then, Corbin Burnes is not walking through that door. I expect Peralta to start Game 1. I think it will be largely a piggyback approach with Peralta, Myers, Civale, Montas, Ashby, Rea, and Hall all eating up 2-6 innings in any individual game depending on the situation and how things unfold. They are going to try to map out 27 outs per game much like they have in past playoff games and the starting pitcher may or may not even be the main guy in any individual game.
  11. The last series of the year against the Mets is going to be really interesting. There's nothing for us to play for, but the Mets will have a ton to play for. You can rest everyone and throw out 3 Sunday jayvee lineups, but you'll end up getting the Mets again, and that sure won't look good if they keep riding the momentum to another win in the playoffs here.
  12. 1) Need more offense. 2) Walks will come back to haunt you. That was this game in a nutshell.
  13. He's got over 1000 PAs at this level, and nothing about his minor league profile suggests he's ever going to offer a ton with the bat, so my guess is that he's just probably going to be a below average hitter. Fortunately, his defense and speed offer enough to make him a fixture in your daily lineup. He's more suited to hit at the bottom of the order than the top, though.
  14. That's kind of what I'm thinking. I don't think he's lying and I am sorry that he has Parkinsons. I do, however, think he's kind of a sleaze who probably knowingly committed welfare fraud and the timing of his announcement to steer the narrative away from the reason he was there isn't accidental by any means.
  15. I can't tell if I should feel sorry for him or marvel at his deliberate placement of a timed distraction.
  16. I think I'm buying in to the theory that the NFL officials favor the Chiefs. These guys get away with murder week after week.
  17. I'll pass on the rest of that Dallas team, however. Seriously though, it was good to see Narveson finally hit a longer one. He's still on thin ice, though. He should buy a thank you card to whoever was holding on that missed kick.
  18. I know a sweep is always a tough ask but if the Brewers had won Game 2 against the Phillies last week, we'd be 1 game behind them AND we would have the tiebreaker over Philly. That one single loss swung it to 3 back and gave THEM the tiebreaker. Seems like they pulled away but that's how close it was to possibly coming down to the last game. Damn.
  19. My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer 15 months ago. Treatment has been very effective so far though so he's doing really well. He hadn't been to a Brewer game in years but went today with a buddy because he says he wants to do things like that while he's still at a point in his life where he's feeling well enough to go do it. Felt really bad for him when we went down 8-0. Was so happy for him when I got a text from him an hour ago saying "CREW WINS!!!!! WOW!!!"
  20. Mike McCarthy is going to have a long year.
  21. Red Rocket looking pretty good. Or is that Red Rifle.....
  22. Aside from a couple throws I didn't honestly think Levis looked as bad as the stat line will show. Could tell at times he got frustrated and desperate and made throws out of desperation.
  23. Titans might be looking for a QB
  24. Insane. They could have ensured the Colts got the ball back with 20 seconds and no timeouts just by not taking a knee. They just donated them 40 seconds. I thought it was insane that the Bears didn't onside kick it because the Colts could almost completely run it out and the Colts one upped them on bad in-game decision making. Fortunately it didn't matter, but that was bad.
