  1. I actually thought Philly taking the FG was the bad percentage call: Attempt TD: Succeed: Philly leads by 9, game over Fail: GB ball at own 1 down 2 with 25 seconds, need 65 yards just to attempt FG for win, not guaranteed FG: GB ball back down 5 with 25 seconds, need 70 yards for guaranteed win (if you take touchback)
  2. Blach pretty accurately describes how I feel about catching these games currently.
  3. What I'm sure is going on is that they did indeed do field test such as the Lachman test and based on their observations from that test, they don't suspect an ACL tear. With the disclaimer on that being, the field tests can be wrong and can't definitively rule it out, so we won't know for certain until the MRI is done.
  4. There's not a very strong consensus among the MDs on X. Some strongly suspect ACL based on the video, others are downplaying that possibility. I'd love to just believe the ones who are on the optimistic side, but unfortunately we just don't know and all we can really do right now is play the wait and see game.
  5. If the diagnosis is a worst case scenario ACL tear, there is nothing to do but look ahead to 2025. Neither Malik Willis nor any FA/trade QB out there is going to lead the organization anywhere promising this year. At that point, you might as well pencil in Willis as the starter the rest of the year, take your lumps and hope he can develop into a viable backup, and enjoy the silver lining of a top 10 or even top 5 pick to add to the roster next season.
  6. 2 weeks would be great but with Malik Willis under center that probably means an 0-3 hole to start the season.
  7. My initial impressions of the Love injury based on the aftermath of it is that it is not going to be a season threatening, long-term thing. But that is nothing more than a layman, non-qualified opinion.
  8. What I dont understand more is how your ST coordinator is not having a conversation with Nixon prior to the kickoff and saying "we need as much field position and time as we can get, you are not bringing this out no matter what."
  9. It's not a great class. We'd go defense picking in the top 5, I'd think.
  10. I also understood the "I'm not that upset part" last and I don't know how anyone can't be upset with what just unfolded.
  11. We lost and Jordan Love might have suffered a serious injury. I get putting things in perspective after 1 game but I'm not exactly sure how things could have possibly gone worse than that first sentence.
  12. I mean the line sucked, but any QB with even a hint of elusiveness manages to spin out of the pocket on that one and at least get a throw off.
  13. God Willis is a worthless pile. Sweet elusiveness.
  14. Ah, so now we get 16 games of Malik Willis too to finish the season. Cool!
  15. Nixon in his mind: *how can I make this worse...how can I make this worse....I know!!*
  16. They can't just take a knee. We have a timeout left.
  17. They're done throwing now. They'd be stupid to. Their worst case scenario is a 5 point lead with like 20-25 seconds left.
  18. Yeah, Hatley sure saved the day. Seriously though, same old fundamentals.
  19. LOL, absolutely pathetic tackling. Two guys trying to take down Hurts and he bulldozes them for 5 yards to pick up the 1st.
  20. LOL. Just can't stop shooting ourselves in the foot. Over. and Over. and Over.
  21. Just a phantom ass defensive holding call.
