  1. Man, half the GTs have been scoreboard watching the rest of the NL Central since May!😂
  2. Been a nice stretch. Frustrating to give away a winnable game today especially with the Dodgers and Phillies likely headed for victories.
  3. Joe Ross is going to make our roster crunch issues easier.
  4. Everything 4 inches off the plate was a strike and now a strike is a ball. Make it make sense, Cuzzi.
  5. Some good things from Hall today, but still some things to work on. Getting 4 inches off the plate was helpful.
  6. Willy has to be better. It's been a brutal defensive stretch.
  7. I'm curious as to whether the organization can "negotiate" with a player > 5 years experience to get them to accept the option. (I.e, "Hoby, we'll give you a 100K bonus and agree to call you back up by September 2nd if you'll accept the option"). A pittance amount to the Brewers to help solve an August roster crunch, but no small sum to Milner, a 5% raise on his 2024 salary.
  8. Hoby Milner has an option remaining which would be a really easy call right now but he's also near that 5 year service time cutoff where you have to consent to being optioned so I don't really know if he can be involuntarily optioned or not.
  9. And I think he might have been called up late enough where the 6 years wouldn't start til next year, so almost 7 years. He'd be a Super 2 of course with 4 arby years. Not 100% positive on that, it's really close.
  10. You know instead of looking behind us at the Cardinals as we all do maybe we should be looking in front of us at the Dodgers. Winning the division wouldn't automatically be the #3 seed. Would be awesome to get a top 2 seed and get a bye through the WC round.
  11. We have a rookie starting pitcher with an ERA of 2.79 who strikes out almost a batter an inning and he's the 3rd most talked about rookie on our team.
  12. Big sigh of relief that EDLC swung at that. Did not want to see him on the bases in a 1-0 game.
  13. When did Adames become a defensive butcher?
  14. They're neck and neck if you look at the box scores, but Anders' kicks still make me hold my breath. Mid 30s kicks from Joseph look like what I would expect from a professional kicker.
  15. The Royals crapped the bed late, so won't be putting more distance between us and the Cards tonight unfortunately.
  16. I like how Spiers has given up 8 runs in 4 innings and the Reds are like, "nah bro, you're eating this one."🤣
  17. 40 runs in 37 1/3 innings? Probably fair to call that an offensive explosion.
  18. Why isn't Chourio getting any ROTY love? Skenes is going to win, I get that, but Chourio at least deserves to be in the discussion on the same level as guys like Jackson Merrill and Tyler Fitzgerald.
  19. And all of the sudden, it's a winning road trip at best, a .500 road trip at worst.
  20. Homeplate umpire ready to go home. Strike 3 probably good but Strike 2 wasn't close.
  21. Well the 2nd place team in the Central is slightly over .500, so this checks out. ;)
  22. I think the clock has struck midnight on Cinderella Haase. That was a brutal AB.
  23. Offense coming alive this series! Love to see it!
  24. You know right away if you're getting good Freddy or bad Freddy.
