The Brewers worked out Walla recently: Yeah, he sounds right up the Brewers' alley. I like this pick.
  2. battlekow
Garfield was ranked #78 by BA:
  3. battlekow
The guys on mlb.com were saying Walla has huge power, but Andy Seiler said some people were comparing him to Jaff Decker, the Padres' on-base machine.

Draft Tracker has caught up, by the way. It actually beat the video on that pick.
  5. battlekow
    How about Chris Dominguez here?
  6. battlekow
    Stock as a catcher, wow.
  7. battlekow
Gould finally goes. He was linked to the Brewers at #26 in several mocks.
  8. battlekow
Kentrail Davis was #39 by BA and not in BP's top 50: Heckathorn was #28 by BA: and #33 by BP:
  9. battlekow
Heckathorn's arm action is panned by everyone. Big injury risk.
  10. battlekow
That seems pretty stupid. If he goes back to school, they don't get a comp pick.
  11. battlekow
    Kentrail Davis, wow.
  12. battlekow
    Well, there goes Paxton.
  13. battlekow
Paxton is still on the board. How about Stassi?
  14. battlekow
    MLB's scouting video on Arnett.
  15. battlekow
Project Prospect's Lincoln Hamilton on the Arnett pick: He had Arnett as the 14th-best player. Andy Seiler had Arnett ranked #32.
  16. battlekow
    Cubs take Jackson, haha.
  17. battlekow
BP had Arnett as the 21st-best player: BA had him 18th:
  18. battlekow
Commentary from BP: Goldstein: Bryan Smith:
  19. battlekow
Arnett it is! You better be right, X!
  20. battlekow
So Davidson and Arnett are on the board. Paxton too.
  21. battlekow
He was just shaking like a leaf and couldn't hear anything.I think he was bummed not to go to the Braves.
  22. battlekow
Wheeler was just awkward, but Matzek was positioning himself for a dug-in-like-a-Georgia-tick negotiation. That was pure business.
  23. battlekow
Jiovanni Mier to the Astros. Another weird pick from them. He can't really hit.
  24. battlekow
I kinda want them to take Paxton. I love his K/BB from the left side.
  25. battlekow
Brothers is supposed to end up as a reliever. Bad control.
