    First observation, much fewer Dodger fans in attendance than last year's Game 1. Last night, didn't see any "Ohtani" fans like I did last year. Not as loud with the roof open. Didn't compare to 2018 Game 1. I thought it was neat gesture to introduce the entire 40-man roster. Priester, nice to see you again! Get well soon! Can't recall Zerpa being introduced. OK, I didn't know Murph is officially number 00. And of course I missed the Turang homer, as I was reading the scoreboard. Did you know Brice's 5.7 WAR was fifth best in MLB? A neat thing to know!

    I had been posting best WPA in the IGT during the season, but stopped. So I will post Man of the Series. Chourio (WPA = +0.61) Ashby (+0.44) Megill (+0.40) Contreras (+0.33) Frelick (+0.19) On the flip side Merrill (-0.46). The two nice catches didn't come close to making up for the lack of offense. Nothing to fret over, Murph.

    Padres. Luis Rengifo is out for the season, so they don't scare me as much.

    I find the timing somewhat strange. I would think this is something that is done at the end of spring training.

    Glad I tuned in early the second half. If I would have seen any of the first half, I would have turned it off for good.

    I don't typically second guess managers, but I thought the PH for Kelly at the end was a head-scratcher. And leaving Sproat in after three walks in the ninth.
