I don't post on this thread as I'm a casual Bucks follower, but watched as my wife is a fan and the possibility of Giannis's last game. As stated above: A half-competent high school coach would have drawn up a better play at the end of regulation. Underwhelming. 7 point lead = 3 possessions = game over. At least I thought it was.

Very much remember listening to that game on the radio. Ted Simmons bonehead play cost a lead, which ended in a tie after nine innings. The game had to be replayed at the end of the season, which was nearly choked away. -

What a gutsy call by the officials at the end of regulation. Can someone name a bigger Badger-killer in all of sports than Thiele? I'm glad she's done.

No one talking about the high school tournament this weekend, so let me indulge. Marshfield is Wisconsin's 45th largest city and definitely not a blueblood, had a D1 championship slip away by throwing the ball away four times in the last 80 seconds. They didn't get a shot off the last three minutes of the game. Four of the five championship games were one possession under 30 seconds remaining.
