The problem is there arent that many players in baseball that can dominate a game that way. I would say Pujols, A-rod, a few others and some pitchers. But I havent even heard rumors of anyone that has the ability to make us drop our jaws in any trade rumors. Maybe Rich Harden, but his injuries make Ben Sheets look like Cal Ripken.

Im not sure I trade Gwynn. He has that off the bench pinch runner speed that can come in extremely handy in late game situations, not to mention his defense is stellar.

Ensberg pre-Braun at 3rd wouldve been a decent option, compared to Counsell, but post-Braun, pass.

If Ned stays does coaching = a hole?

    We always have Rodgers. "Shrugs"

Depending on who would would have to give up to get him, id pass. Considering we would be going up against NYx2 and Boston, I think the price would be pretty steep. The only way I can see it going down is if DM thinks he can get Gagne to sign past this year (cheaper than CoCo) and to become our future closer. If thats the case, I would rather wait til' season end and just sign him instead of giving up some top notch prospects which it will undoubtedly take.

Night of the Comet is absolutely my favorite movie of all time. I used to watch that movie religiously when I was a kid. Other ones I could go with are..... Purple Rain Zoolander Garbage Pail Kids (good call) Licsense to Drive Pee Wees Big Adventure

The Covenant - Was ok, slow getting to the plot, but just OK. Snatch - Ive seen it before and still love it everytime I watch it, definately a must see. Best acting Brad Pitt has ever done. Off topic, but also seen Stomp the Yard at the theatres and I must say, it was a dam good movie.

Not trying to nitpick here, but how can you say your looking at the Brewers in a more reality based view than others and then go on to say we have been competitive and profitable two years in a row. We have been profiting for soem time now, well before Attanasio and competitive, I beg to differ as would most of other people here. Not trying to pick on you, but that post came across as very snide and very rude to I think the majority of posters here. Maybe I am reading it wrong and if so I am sorry. Nothing personal. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah Im not really for signing him at the price he is going to demand either. It scares me signing a #4 and possibly ending up a 5 by the end of next year at a price tag of 10+ a year.

Id try getting Armando Benitez if trading Jenkins happens. I know his salary is high and that he has been injured, but the guy has had times when he was a top closer in baseball....

I dont recall any leaks on the Lee trade to be honest.
