He is at 70 pitches through 4. He has also given up 2 runs, walked 3 and he hardly ever walks people. The Cardinals wouldn't have gotten a man up in the bullpen in the 1st inning if he wasn't struggling.
As glad as I am to get another run back this inning, I just wish our #5 hitter would do something, anything. Rickie only has one hit this series so far...
I watched the replay, the pitch was maybe an inch or two low of being directly down the middle of the plate, so I stand by my statement. (According to the pitch locator on the bottom right of the TV)
Yes seriously, it is ludicrous to call this game over, but to say that the series is going back to Milwaukee in the middle of the 3rd game with a 2-0 series lead is inexcusable.
Just to clarify, are you saying that Molitor was invited back as a player after his initial departure to Toronto or are you using that $1 million offer from the Brewers before he left as your example of when he was invited back as a player?
I'm with you. Not sure why Kennedy is talking so much trash as he made two bone-headed decisions yesterday that ended up costing him the game; pitching to Lucroy w/ 2 outs and a man on third and the pitcher coming up next and pitching to Fielder w/ two outs and a 1st base open. Just sounds petty for a pitcher to say such things after he gets knocked around.
I would have gladly paid more if instead I could watch the TBS feed online. Just seems like MLB dropped the ball on this. Also high homeplate view is not bad too. You can watch 2 views at once but I tired it and one was a little behind the other.
