  1. Ramlow is 6'7", 170 lbs? That's borderline disgusting..."lanky" doesn't begin to describe that...or am I just fat? Geez...get the kid a butterburger...
  2. Colby and/or others: Incase you are interested, I posted my recap of the action from the D3 NCAA tourney if anyone is looking for a semi-long read, lol, check the Off-Topic forum.
  3. Dave, thanks. I saw that too...I just figured that was email for his blog or something...I figured they would use an FSN email address or something for stuff that they want sent to the booth...oh well, I'll give it a shot, thanks.
  4. Hey guys...sorry for the silly question...but...what's the email address to send something "to the booth" for Darron or Bill?
  5. In addition...from Yahoo's coverage... "As Pierzynski went back to the dugout, he raised his hands in the air while a soldout crowd at U.S. Cellular Field roared. He slapped hands with his teammates." Just another reason why Pierzynski is one of the biggest morons in baseball.
  6. Not saying he deserved to get popped for it....but...AJ's emphatic slam of the plate with his fist was completely over the top. You just nearly knocked a guy out on a clean hard play at the plate. You did your job, you don't top it off by trying to show him up and slamming the plate with your fist to say "mission accomplished"...you just touch the plate with your hand and walk away without making eye contact....I'm guessing that's what Barrett took exception to...
  7. Boy, it's fun to watch Prince rumble around those bases...
  8. The other guy in the booth is part of the Rockies broadcast team, at least from what I gathered. If you notice, 3 of the 4 spring training games on TV are against the Rockies...sounds like they are "sharing" announcers for these games..so, perhaps the next TV game we'll get a Rockies broadcast with Darron or Bill in the booth as the 3rd man. I think that's where this is headed anyways...
  9. BrewCrew....check the play by play post a few posts up.
  10. WTMJ? Are they doing more as we get later, or just weekend games for all of ST? Check out the Broadcast Schedule
  11. You might have missed the part where they kept talking to some guy with the last name that sounded like McGlocklin...just before they started the Brewers game..they were showing a replay of last night's Bucks game...and...they kept asking some guy named McGlocklin come to the podium and speak about bridges...lol, I thought they were naming a bridge in Minnesota after our Bucks announcer or something...that was quite strange....but fun!
  12. Whaaaat the heck...is anyone watching the game on FSN? For some strange reason, the video is there...but the audio that is coming in seems to be some Minnesota Department of Transportation meeting? Am I crazy? or is this happening to others? lol, I'm so confused... For what it's worth, I have Time Warner Cable and live in Apple-ton...
  13. lol, glad to see others are having the problem...that was crazy..I had no idea what was happening...but...it sounded like a fun meeting... lol, glad to see it's fixed now...
  14. 20 minutes into the first broadcast and we have our first Schroeder slam. It wasn't really meant as a slam, personally, I kind of like Schroeder, and all his goofyness and "I'm a manly man" persona...however, I didn't need to be reminded that someone is a gamer because he went after a foul ball. It wasn't a slam, just one of those "thanks for that observation, Bill" sarcasms. And besides, since when do we have to wait until the first tv game to start the Schroeder bashing..it seems to be a year-round event for many people, http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. This just in according to Bill Schroeder: "Corey Koskie is a gamer" By the way...what's the over/under on how many times we are reminded that he is Canadian?
  16. I'm reppin the Home Plate league and I'm gonna bring the funk....that's just how I roll... I'm gonna beat my competitors down harder than a donkey punch.......see you girls in the champions league. HEE-HAW!!!
  17. If there's still room left...sign me up.
  18. I'm still a newbie around here, I've only been lurking around for the last year...but I appreciate all the hard work that goes into this site, and all that has in the past. I hope to celebrate the next 5 years, and a playoff berth (or five) with my new Brewerfan.net friends. Thanks guys for giving me the opportunity.
  19. Wow, amazing no one is there, we had twice as many people at Little League games, haha. Interesting atmosphere...I always assumed it would be similar to an "A" setting. Not to knock the guy that allowed us to watch his video, I appreciate it, but, I'd rather not have to listen to him explain to me why there are so many latin players, and that most players seem to be about the same size at 6' and 200 lbs...I cringed when I heard him say that....although, he did let me know that Inman was throwing "some hard stuff, mixed in with some offspeed stuff".....thanks for the scouting report.... Anyways, it was very cool, great find!
  20. Interesting. Thanks for, well, trying to clear that up Casey...I appreciate your well-researched info. You're right, it does still seem sort of confusing, but I guess the TEAM LOB is the most important number. Not to go to much further on this topic, but, it makes me wonder, if a player sacrifices a runner from second to third, but makes their own out at first, does that still count as a LOB against the player? I suppose it would. I sent that as a question on air last year to Bill-the-rock on FSN...obviously it didn't get picked to be answered, in fact, I don't think I even want to listen to Bill trying to answer that one.
  21. Hey fellas, I've been wondering this for the last couple days and can't seem to find an answer... Sometimes certain box scores will include the "left on base" category. Excuse my statistical ignorance here, but, does that mean...only with two outs? Or, any time a batter leaves a runner on base? My main question is, if a team leaves 9 runners on base in a game, is that 9 runners on base left when the 3rd out is made? Or...are they actually counting runners twice, or perhaps even three times? If a leadoff hitter hits a triple, and the next three hitters behind him strike out, is that counted as 3 men left on base? Just wondering how valuable the stat actually is...
  22. For whatever it's worth, it was Lee and Hall in the 8th. We still went on to lose the game 9-6 though, oh well. I shall be rooting tonight for the Crew to crush him into Minute Maid P-astacio juice tonight with heavy pulp..... Wow...that was terribly corny....I apologize. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  23. Hmm, looks like from Astacio's game log that he pitched against the Brewers at MP once this year in relief and went 1 inning and gave up 2 HRs? Out of curiousity, anyone recall who they were to?
