Jim Edmonds traded to Reds for OF Chris Dickerson

Cool more namecalling on Carlos. Awesome. I like Cain alot but its 9 at bats. Lets calm down a little bit, Carlos had 4 hits in his first 9 at bats.

Rivas just dominated in the first 3 innings but gave up a walk and a couple hits in the 4th. He has 7k through 4 right now.

Taylor Green just hit a walk off homer in the bottom of the 13th! Yes I was watching the Gameday for it. Rough night for Lawrie.

Coming into that game he was hitting .365/.445/.594/1.037 Since that day he is hitting .234/273/.397/.669 with a BABIP of .259. I am not saying that is the reason why he is struggling I just thought it was pretty interesting and pretty crazy to see how bad he has been. What really hurts Braun is how aggressive he is at the plate. Last year he did a great job of taking a walk. This year since he has started to struggle its almost like he is swinging at everything hoping to get some hits to fall. Obviously I don't think Braun is THIS bad, however he really really needs to be more patient and stop chasing bad pitches.

That's basically what I thought about when I heard this news. 1-8 that is a pretty solid line up. Hopefully by 2012 we will have a couple of the young pitchers up and plus whatever we get for Prince and all of a sudden I'm starting to see a light at the end of this tunnel. -
