    Earlier in the game he was implying that the Brewers were winning because of Counsell. Yeah, I was getting ticked off too. He claimed that Counsell was a "winner." Yes Dave, he played on two teams that won the World Series, that means he's a winner.

    Brewers77, you didn't even watch those 5 innings, so you have no idea what it was like dealing with the bases loaded 3 straight innings.

    Well mikerollins, Gwynn better get 3 more at-bats because he's already 0-2 with two weak grounders. I'm not saying I don't like Gwynn, because I do, but not as a leadoff hitter. He's been a great bench player so far this year and I hope it continues. As I type this, Graffy makes it 2-0!

    I really love Counsell playing 3rd because he's gritty and never strikes out.

    Ugh, when will Estrada move out of that 5 hole? That was horrible.

    Len Kasper just read the rule, and it was the right call. If a player hits the ball with his bat while it's in fair territory, he's out.

    I don't know if anyone has noticed because our team has played so well lately, but Weeks is definitely slumping again. His OBP is down to .340, while his average is around .240. Plus, he isn't slugging, as all of his hits recently that I can remember have been singles.

    Wow. I just back from the game/finished reading this monster in game thread, which took upwards of 50 minutes. I don't know what to really add what has already been said. I'm just lucky to say that I was in the bleachers for that game, probably the best baseball game I've been to in my life. It shows how awesome brewerfan.net is in that right after the game, I didn't talk to my friends about Fielder or Villy, but how excited I was to read the brewerfan.net IGT. Once again, wow.

    I'm just about to leave for the game. Really excited because I haven't been able to see the Crew in person since Opening Day, plus I get to sit in the bleachers for the first time at Wrigley. I'll be the one in the Molitor jersey and backwards retro Brewers cap, so if you see someone throwing back a Cubs home run ball, it will be me.

    Hopefully they don't put Marquis in the lineup, maybe at SS, because he definitely rakes against Vargas.

    Yeah Garner, pulling Lidge after a leadoff double off the trademark is really going to increase his confidence.

    I swear that Estrada swings at EVERY first pitch. Him hitting 5th doesn't make any sense to me.
