  1. What men's sport are they going to get rid of to meet Title IX requirements?
  2. 4-4 this year when they give up 4 or 5 runs. 6+ they are 1-11 (if my counting is correct).
  3. I don’t expect most MLB hitters (outside of pitchers) to bat under .220. Anyone below that is underperforming in my book. It seems like below .250 used to be a bad hitter. Wish that was still the case. MLB average BA is .236 this season. It was .252 in 2019. You need to recalibrate for the times we are in. The change in the baseball has absolutely killed offense this season.
  4. Alright. Yelich in as the Disabled Hitter tonight. Perfect.
  5. Then don't? Like, there are 11,000 other things you could do. If you don't like baseball, why watch?
  6. Brandon Woodruff, Corbin Burnes, Freddy Peralta, Josh Hader, Devin Williams, and JP Feyereisen. That's it. Everyone else is either average at best or hurt. So what you're saying is a team built on pitching and defense..... has relied on its.... pitching and defense? Despite an absolute ton of injuries?
  7. Their best player has played for about a week total, their opening day CF for 2 weeks and their #2 starter missed 25% of his scheduled starts.... and they have almost as many games played by the #3 and #4 catchers as the #1. I mean, I cannot understand how they are still over .500.
  8. Who's Hauser? Dammit. I always type his name one way then change it. I'm right about half the time.
  9. MLB average OPS so far this season is .701. 2019 that was .758. There is a whole lot of offensive suppression going on.
  10. Hope Garcia doesn't hurt his back carrying the entire offense
  11. At the game tonight. Pablo was on the field to pinch run before Big Dan even stopped to turn around. Also, I've seen some moon.shots, that rivaled all of them
  12. I've taken to using my sous vide to pre-cook my brats for tailgates. Beer in the bag and an hour at 150F and they come out firm, super juicy and just in need of a sear (or as my dad calls it - grill microwave) to be ready to go. https://www.seriouseats.com/sous-vide-beer-brat-recipe-food-lab
  13. extra brats get chopped up, browned in the pan and then made into omlette's for me.
  14. [sarcasm]How dare you take the greatest baseball players name in vain![/sarcasm] Yuni B was a GOD tier baseball superstar!!!!!! My friends and I had turned his name into a verb back in those days. "You really YuniB'd that one" for anytime someone should've been paying attention to something and completely failed. This was usually things like backing into something, burning food, or spilling a beer.
  15. They traded my sanity for Yuniesky Betancourt twice.
  16. Can't really think of a reason he should be hitting less than 5th. At least put him ahead of Garcia. I don’t get the fascination Counsell has with having Garcia hit in the top half of the line up. Hopefully Cain/Yelich can stay healthy and Shaw can continue to hit. That at least pushes him to 6th in the line up. I also don’t see why Vogelbach is ahead of Urias...well I don’t know how we ever found it acceptable to have Vogelbach on the team...but here we are. Cousell loves to go RLRLRLRL as much as he can with the new reliever rules to help prevent situational guys getting in the game.
  17. So, I went back to look: 2021: 19 (I believe) with Lauer. 2 guys with 1IP. 2019: 20 pitchers in March/April (1 with less than 3IP) 2018: 18 (2 with 1.1 IP or less) 2017: 17 (2 with 1IP or less)
  18. So, The Napoleon, do you exile the seatbelt to an island?
