  1. He probably could have gone home on that play, but I agree that you have to get the 2 outs up by 3 runs.
  2. Greinke's got to have a shorter leash than a saint bernard in this inning.
  3. Should've pinch hit Greinke, but I guess RR figures it's the bottom of the Cards order coming up.
  4. It's funny how Yuni can have an 8 pitch AB, but you know the count is still at 1-2. YUNI!!!!
  5. You guys have to have faith. The Brewers have to put up runs when Greinke is pitching at home, remember?
  6. That's why I wondered why everyone kept saying that we had the pitching advantage. How?Because our pitching has been better all season. You can't use a few bad postseason starts and assume the pitching has been bad all year. The pitching is how we got here in the first place. And don't forget that the Cardinals are a really good hitting team.
  7. He probably gets more strike pitches with nobody on and Yuni behind him. Oh, shift.
  8. The picture will come back in about 5-10 minutes, if it's like what happened to me. Also, when I lost my TBS feed, it was only the HD feed. SD still worked.
  9. I've been saying this from day 1. I can't look at it anymore, because it's just not accurate. There was one instance on a replay where they actually moved the location of the pitch on the pitch tracker.
  10. Roenicke would be better off not putting a runner on base with a HBP and risk getting Marcum ejected in the first inning.
  11. 1-2-3 inning. Nice inning from Greinke to calm the nerves a little bit.
  12. "I think there's a better chance we sign (Reyes) than we re-sign Prince (Fielder)." That does not sound like something Braun would say, especially in the middle of a heated playoff race, even if it is true. I know Braun is a junior deputy GM, but I'm not sure he has this much of a pulse on what the front office is talking about doing for next year.
  13. jj, you could buy the $2.99 mlb.TV companion package. It doesn't come with any blackout restrictions. Otherwise, I'm sure you could convince the local sports bar to switch at least one of the TVs off of football this afternoon. I'm pumped for this game. It weirds me out a little bit though to hear BA call these games.
  14. Brewers in 7 - W, W, L, L, L, W, W I think Marcum will come through big in 2 home games and the Brewers will win in 7, winning only the home games again. Garcia @ Greinke Jackson @ Marcum Gallardo @ Carpenter Wolf @ Lohse Greinke @ Garcia Jackson @ Marcum Carpenter @ Gallardo
  15. I feel a little bit bad for Prince, because I honestly think he would like to come back to Milwaukee, but the team is not offering enough money (and probably rightly so). I can't sit here and fault the guy for chasing the money. How many of us are ultimately not motivated by money? I can't say that I would leave $40 million on the table. I'll cheer Prince during his last at bat as a Brewer and his first at bat at Miller Park with his new team. He's brought me a ton of joy in the 6 years he's played here and most especially this year.
