It was an OK movie, but I feel like it is probably better enjoyed by those people who are lesser baseball fans. All of the factual errors bothered me a little bit. I kept saying to myself, "That's not how that happened". And even beyond that, the story itself was way better in the book than what was put into the script. It rode the fence of fact and Hollywood and that's what ruined it for me. They should have followed the book strictly or thrown away all the names and made it a true Hollywood inspirational sports movie. I didn't hate it, but I thought it had more potential.

I'm not too upset at this outcome. The World Series was exciting and the Cardinals were a compelling story line. Just like in '08, the Brewers lost their playoff series to the eventual World Series champion. -

He might not be lying about his age, but he looks a lot older than most people I know to be his same age. EDIT: That before picture above^ is awesome.

This will be my last post on this forum for a few weeks while I recover from all this, but I wanted to say what a great year it has been. It's been very emotional and I haven't been able to get a lot of productive work done outside of thinking about the Brewers and the playoffs. It was definitely a learning experience with all of the ups and downs and overreactions to each and every pitch. I love this game with every ounce of me and there is no way I could go through life without it. I'm going to remove the Brewers cowboy background from my computer and delete some of the baseball shortcuts from the shortcut bar. Congratulations to the Cardinals, but even more so congratulations to the Brewers. If you would have told me that we'd be one of the last 3 teams standing during spring training, I would have called you a wide eyed optimist, and that's exactly what this playoff run has turned me into. I love baseball, I love this team. Get ready for next year.

When people say talk about Yovani being an ace I always assume they mean that he is the Brewers ace. In my mind, every team has a best pitcher and that is usually their ace.
