  1. Every fan in Atlanta has their arms crossed and a pissed off look on their face like they are just waiting to lose.
  2. What about his throw on the triple play earlier this season?
  3. What are you doing Kimbrel. This season has been reallly long for the Braves bullpen.
  4. Well said about Gomez. The guy is an insanely good defender and a real team player. He's going to be huge during the playoffs as a late inning replacement.
  5. Wow, Greinke has 200 Ks? Wasn't he injured for a month to start the season, lol. The Brewers can set all kinds of records today.
  6. Of course Gomez would hit a homerun! Gogo slowly around those bases Gomez.
  7. Fielder could still get that elusive .300 season if he gets another hit or two.
  8. Are BA and Rock poking jabs at the Arizona fans who might be watching? A little Daron Sutton payback perhaps?
  9. Daron did predict this happening. In the top of the 10th inning he started talking to people who he predicted were going to be watching the re-air of this game saying, "You are going to want to stay tuned because you'll never believe what happens in the bottom of the 10th".
  10. http://www.fangraphs.com/tgraphs/20080703_Brewers_Diamondbacks_0.png Who posted a reminder of this game earlier? Strangely similar fangraph, huh?
  11. Favorable possibilities for tomorrow: 1) Brewers win, DBacks lose 2) Brewers win, DBacks win 3) Brewers lose, DBacks lose
  12. That is the worst fangraph chart I have ever seen. What the H?
  13. Greinke should just do a bullpen session and get ready for Game 2 imo, but I haven't really looked at the pitching situation yet.
  14. I want the Braves in the first round because they would be the easiest team to get the Brewers to the NLCS. But I suppose if I had to choose between the DBacks and the Cardinals for the NLCS, the Cardinals would be an easier and more exciting matchup, but I still think the DBacks would be a better matchup for the Phillies in round 1. In my eyes there is a good chance that the Phillies get to the second round and I want the Brewers to have the easiest path to get to them.
  15. Don't you mean "GO BRAVES!" I hope Upton's alright for his sake.
  16. Sutton just gave a shout out to all us Brewer fans. He knows we're watching. EDIT: He's also talking to people who will be watching the re-air of this game. I miss his oddball ways sometimes.
  17. This is really nice to not have to worry about winning tomorrow (assuming the Dodgers don't blow this). Takes a lot of pressure off the pitching staff and let's RR focus on the playoffs.
  18. Braun doesn't need the batting title to win MVP. He's on a playoff bound team.
  19. Wow Prince is going to carry this team to home field advantage.
  20. Braun was one of the first guys off the bench and he came up with a huge hit, so I don't know how you can defend RR for resting Braun when he was clearly ready to use him right away. Either rest him or start him, don't bring him in in the 6th inning. The guy is the likely MVP of the league, we need him in the lineup in must win games if possible. Maybe Braun is really suffering and we don't know about it, but it's not apparent in his swing. Kotsay has had some good at bats this year, but I'm not sure how anyone can defend him batting 2nd or 3rd in this lineup. Maybe more of the blame should go on Marcum and not on RR, but it frustrates me to know that there is even a possibility that tonight's game wasn't a priority game in his mind.
  21. We can still wrap up home field tomorrow with a win and a DBacks loss, no?
  22. This was Roenicke's worst game of the season managing that I've seen. Where is the urgency to win? He started the game like it didn't matter and then somewhere toward the end decided that maybe it did kind of matter. You can't do these things if you want to win an important September game: 1.Rest Braun 2. Start Kotsay batting 3rd 2.Pull Weeks 3. Pitch De La Cruz 4. Pinch hit McGehee
