  1. This would be a good spot for a 3 run homerun.....or at least advancing JHJ to third for Weeks.
  2. The IGT is the saddest place on earth. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  3. I was there too. That's my most memorable game. Also, 2008 playoff win. Bill Hall Mother's Day walkoff. Molitor returns to Milwaukee. Those game are the one's I remember the most.
  4. We have 8 innings left in this game and an entire home game left if this doesn't work out. C'mon people.
  5. Weeks doesn't ground into a lot of DPs. That was disappointing.
  6. What was Prince doing while walking to first? I guess it was just beast mode.
  7. I'm not too nervous, just because we have 2 chances to win 1 game, but it sure would be nice to win and have Yo ready to go against the #2 of the Phillies/Cards to start the NLCS. Braun seems to like Saunders. Can he go deep again against him tonight?
  8. Well, the Cardinals winning tonight is good either way. If the Phillies win game 5, it's ikely Halladay wouldn't be available until game 3 of the NLCS because he'd have to pitch game 5 of the NLDS. As bad as it would be to see the Cardinals advance further than the Brewers, wouldn't be equally as positive to watch the Brewers beat the Cards in the NLCS? I'm going to wait until the NLCS is set up before I start talking too much.
  9. We still got 4 more innings to hit, so hopefully Marcum keeps it close.
  10. I excited to have a packed IGT tonight. And for those at the game, make us proud. Go Crew!
  11. Wow. I can't believe the umpires just overturned a call. Schumaker makes a diving catch. It is ruled a trap and the umpires huddle and overturn the call. LaRussa would probably have huge fines after the game if that wasn't overturned and the Phillies score more runs. (Replay please)
  12. Their dazzling good looks?
  13. He was born and raised in St. Paul and went to college at the University of Minnesota. He hit his 3,000th hit with the Twins and later became the Twins hitting coach. I'm sure he has nothing but love for the Brewers and his time with the club, but he's clearly more personally tied to Minnesota. I was actually thinking yesterday that it would be great if they had Molitor or some of the other '82 Brewers throw out the first pitch for upcoming home playoff game(s).
  14. That's look really nice 20fry. Good thinking. If these baseball teams had any sense they would offer the option to buy a hard copy of the ticket after the game, say for $10. I went to game 4 of the 2007 World Series, but you'll have to take my word for it because the I threw away the 8 1/2 X 11" sheet of copy paper that I used to print it out. It looked really dumb.
  15. I had never heard the name Melinda McCarthy before Saturday night. I envisioned the younger sister of Jenny, but I too like what she did on SNL. I really enjoyed the first skit where she was hitting on her coworker in the office and later on in the show when she was one of the ranch flavor testers. Funny stuff. She kind of reminded me of a female Chris Farley with her full body style comedy.
  16. I still blame the umpires for contributing to the Brewers game 2 loss in 2008. It's easy to blame the umps when you lose a playoff game.
  17. I'm 100% rooting for the Cardinals. The Phillies are a much better team, imo.
