Clearly, jjgott, Wolf was throwing a perfect game and it was tied 0-0 in the top of the 9th inning. Fingers crossed.

The playoffs are magical. Only the performances over the last 8 games matter.You don't have to take the magic out of the playoffs to make your argument.

Kotsay shouldn't have been starting, but it's hardly fair to blame the entire game on him. He was on base 3 times including a HR. Hart, Braun, Fielder, Weeks and Lucroy were on base just 4 times between them and that includes a HBP and IBB. We all know that starting Kotsay was a bad move, but you can't tell me that starting Morgan/Gomez would have guaranteed a victory the way everyone else was hitting. EDIT: It's also not fair to say that Kotsay cost us 3 runs. Nobody knows what would have happened if he had caught that ball in CF or not been picked off at second.

2-2 is what the series will hopefully be after tonight. 2-2 means homefield advantage is back. It means that we put the ball in Greinke's hands to get us up 3-2. This is the pivotal game tonight.

This is what will happen and that's the best lineup. I don't want Gomez hitting for Hart. It's only 17 ABs.
