    Is it just me or is it strange that Rivera is pinch-hitting over Hardy here in the 9th? Could be one of those things where Hardy is just completely getting the day off I guess.

    Exactly. Me and my dad we're talking the other night and we both agreed that ever since Weeks went down, our offense just hasn't been the same. It's had a lot bigger impact than I ever would have imagined.

    Hardy's inability to get the runner home with less than 2 outs came back to really hurt in the end.

    After today's doubleheader, Escobar is hitting .303 with 16 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homeruns, and 22 SB. He has 7 doubles over his last 10 games. He only had 24 doubles all of last year, so it's nice to see his power numbers starting to increase a little bit.
