  1. Like Sveum said after last night's game, it's a good feeling knowing we control our own destiny again. That being said, it would really be something if the Marlins could beat Santana and give us a chance to clinch today.
  2. That hurts man. That hurts.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. Fontenot and Theriot are gonna be the death of me.
  4. Is it just me, or does it seem like there's a lot more Brewer fans than Cubs fans this time around?
  5. Wow, great catch Cameron. Now get the bullpen warmed up Dale.
  6. How is the Marlins bullpen? Volstad has thrown 51 pitches through 3 innings so far.
  7. I meant just for tonight. Pinella said before yesterday's game that he would rest the regulars again on Friday because they would be getting into Milwaukee late, but then most of the regulars would be starting on Saturday and Sunday to get ready for the playoffs.
  8. According to weather.com, the chances of the Marlins/Mets playing baseball Friday or Saturday is slim to none. I think we'll definitely be seeing a doubleheader on Sunday.
  9. We are now only a game behind the Phillies. What in the world happens if there is a 3-way tie between the Crew, Mets, and Phillies at the end of the season?
  10. Washington (Lannan) at Phillies (Blanton): 6:05 PM CDT Florida (Volstad) at NY Mets (Pelfrey): 6:10 PM CDT Atlanta (Campillo) at Houston (Moehler): 7:05 PM CDT Wild Card Race: Team W L PCT GB Milwaukee 88 71 .553 - N.Y. Mets 88 71 .553 - Houston (1) 84 74 .532 3½
  11. Yes, I'm sure Suppan will be on an extremely short leash. It sounds like the Cubs will be playing their AAA club again, so hopefully Soup can get it turned around.
  12. Kevin Hart facing the top of the order. This can't end well.
  13. Yikes, we need a miracle tonight. They might as well call themselves the Iowa Cubs tonight. Sheesh.
  14. It would really be a shame if we didn't have at least 40,000 tonight. I was at last night's game and there were empty green seats all over the place. It was very strange watching and listening to people root for the Cubs too. After the game in the parking lot, everybody was going nuts because the Cubs took the lead in the 10th.
  15. Cubs (Harden) at NY Mets (Martinez): 6:10 PM CDT Cincinnati (Cueto) at Houston (Oswalt): 7:05 PM CDT Wild Card Race: Team W L PCT GB Milwaukee 87 71 .551 - N.Y. Mets 87 71 .551 - Houston (2) 83 74 .529 3½
  16. Anybody think this one will be a sellout or close to one with Sabathia pitching and just the overall importance of the game?
  17. Great night tonight. Walk-off homer and the sleeping giants of St. Louis were officially eliminated from playoff contention.
  18. The Cubs/Mets game is on ESPN for anybody who wants to do a little channel flipping.
  19. Cubs (Zambrano) at NY Mets (Perez): 6:10 PM CDT Cincinnati (Ramirez) at Houston (Wolf): 7:05 PM CDT Wild Card Race: Team W L PCT GB N.Y. Mets 87 70 .554 - Milwaukee (5) 86 71 .548 1 Houston (2) 82 74 .526 4½
  20. Driving down from Eau Claire to watch this one. It's going to be a long day seeing as how I have classes Wednesday and Thursday. Please make it worth it Brewers.
  21. Walk-off homeruns are fun. Let's do it.
