Here too. Any idea when they started showing it? I quit checking around 10:30. Why does it have to be so hard?! Nope I turned the TV off when I saw it was just the DirecTv background with music, then around 10:50 turned it on to put on Letterman and heard Brian Anderson talking.

Anyone else in RTTS think they are wayyyy too many double plays? My guy bats lead off and whenever I get on base it seems automatic that the next guy hits into a double play.

I hit like .240 with 0 home runs in my first season as a SS in RTTS in the Angels organization. Then the second year I got called up to AAA because of an injury and I have been hitting about .350 with a .400 obp and 2 home runs (Hit my first off Carlos Villanueva who was on the Sounds for some reason) in about 150 ABs. I thought it would get more difficult going to AAA but i'm doing much better. No guess pitch, no strike zone, and I'm not even using the left stick to hit, just being patient and waiting for a pitch over the plate.

I'm apparently more confident than most about the Badgers next season. I think as long as Bo Ryan is the coach they will find their way into the tournament. It seems everyone expects a big drop off every year, but it just doesn't happen. I like the two freshman they have coming in, I think they can contribute a little bit. I think you can expect improvement from Taylor and Wilson, they will become better scoring threats. Wilson already is, he just needs to work on his defense and take care of the ball. The key will be Leuer and Nankivil as others have said. They both showed flashes during the season, Leuer was especially good early on and then dropped off. If they can develop into better defenders and be more aggressive scoring the basketball this team can be very good next year. I expect another Tournament appearance. I look for even greater things in 2010 with a much more athletic team.

Yeah, my power is at like 35 at both sides of the plate, I have a switch hitter. I don't use guess pitch or location, and I have the strike zone and every visual aid turned off.

I am having too much trouble using the left stick to aim my swing. I can't lay off pitches and I'm usually late on fastballs because I'm too worried about trying to move the cursor to the spot I think the ball is going. When I don't use the stick I draw a lot of walks and swing at good pitches, but I have completed a full year in RTTS as a SS and haven't hit a home run yet, and I basically only get singles. I'm Craig Counsell essentially. Maybe it gets easier once I get my power attributes up.

Is everyone using the Left Stick when swinging? I seem to do better not using it at all, whenever I try to aim it I end up swinging at everything.

Are the online issues better yet? I haven't been able to play for awhile but the last few games I played it was extremely laggy and pretty much unplayable. I have a wired connection too.

The music is linked with that roster, so after you add the music, make sure you do a roster save. Then when starting a franchise make sure you load that roster file. Or, are you saying you are already in a franchise and you just edited the players in the franchise menus? If that's the case then I have no idea why it wouldn't work, because that's the way I did it. Btw, I also can't stand the base running in RTTS. I like the stealing aspect, but the overall base running is terrible, I've made so many outs on the bases.

I would suggest being patient. I have messed with the sliders a bit, I have computer strike frequency all the way to the left because I like to try to draw walks, and I have cpu pitch control all the way to the left. It produces a fairly realistic amount of walks, and the if the pitcher gets behind they will groove a FB on occasion and that's when you can get some good contact. I seem to hit decent and I don't use the left stick at all.

If you check out Operationsports.com they have people helping make this game even better. Someone already put out a song pack filled with walk up music for almost every player in the game, they are working on the home run music for all teams, and full rosters with the top 100-200 prospects included. I lied when I said 100-200 prospects, they are doing the entire minor leagues, and it will be accurate because they did the same thing last year and they were amazing. Can you post a link to this? For PS3, I started an online game, it downloaded the roster update, and during the game it cut to the dugout with Macha walking around. I saw the gray hair and he turned around to talk to someone and it said Macha on the back of his jersey. So I don't know what's going on, but that was definitely him.

After downloading the new roster update I noticed Ken Macha in the dugout walking around, so you just need the new update.
