I have heard nothing but bad things about the RE5 demo, haven't tried it though. Do we need a spring videogame lineup thread now? Anyone have Killzone 2 yet?

I finally got in after an hour and 45 minutes and selected the game I wanted but it couldn't authorize either of my credit cards, all my information was typed in correctly and it wouldn't put me over my limits. Now I'm stuck back in the waiting room. Ugh

Hopefully those pictures work as I just copied them from someones else. BTW, Braun is rated as the 2nd best LF in the game, and Hart is the 8th or 9th best RF.

Does this mean Joey Gathright is going to be the next bad player to be a thorn in the Brewers side? It's bad enough that they have Aaron Miles.

I rented this game with Gamefly, sent it back before I even "managed" a game. I couldn't stand it. The menus are confusing, you have to go through a whole bunch of windows just to do one thing, and then back all the way out. The contract lengths are screwed up, so basically everyone on the Brewers has 1 year left on their contract, and you can offer a guy like Gallardo a long term contract for $100 million, but he only wants 1 year-500k, and that's all he will accept. So to start the game out, you have to essentially resign every player on the team to new contracts, then free agency isn't fun at all. You get no feedback on your offers, you put in a offer, and then wait, then you get an e-mail telling you the player either signed with your team or signed with someone else. So you have no chance of trying to outbid someone. Nothing seemed realistic to me, so before I even started a game I just sent it back.

My DL took about an hour total, but I happened to see it up right after it was uploaded, so I think I snuck the DL in before the servers got hit hard.

I have to vouch for Goozex as well, been on there a few months and have already got a few new games, like Metal Gear Solid 4 and MLB 08 The Show, just from trading my old games that I didn't play anymore. As long as you are patient for new releases it is a great (cheap) way to pick up some new games for old ones.

If anyone is interested, wants more screen shots, or info, this is the best site to get it from: http://www.operationsport...m/forums/scea-sports-mlb/ They had guys that work for that site fly out to meet with the producers and developers of The Show, they got to play the game with them, ask them any questions they wanted about the game, and then they reported back on that site with their findings. So there is hours of reading material for anyone that is interested.

Anyone else excited about this game? I just bought a PS3 solely for a good baseball game, as the 2k series is horrendous. Got '08 and so far it's up there with MVP '05 as far as great baseball games. '09 comes out next month and so far from what I've read it is going to blow '08 out of the water. Yeah it's in the museum of history connected to the Ghoul's city near downtown. The gun should be in the last room you get to (with a glowing ghoul in it) and it is in a small locked cabinet in the back left of the office. It's hard to find ammo for (.44 magnum), but it's pretty much the only gun you'll ever need in the game. Repairs with the hunting rifle, so it's pretty much always full strength. I already had found the gun, I was just asking if others found it as well, so we can all bask in it's awesomeness. I like to just explore and find all the good guns, I am over 50 hours in and probably only half done with the main quest. I got the Kneecapper after the Nuka Cola Challenge, I got the Terrible Shotgun from someone, and I'm mad that I got the A3-21 Plasma Rifle but immediately sold it because my energy weapons skill was low, not realizing it was probably the best gun in the game. Also, while doing the stealing independence quest I never encountered the girl that is supposed to help me, and I completed the quest so I can't get the special gun she carries, and during the quest I got locked out of the computers in the museum of technology, and can never get the special chinese assault rifle, unless theres a way to get it without using the computers?

really? that's interesting. I haven't played it, but I was really turned off by the 'Lego' type graphics. Maybe i'll have to take a closer look. What was so bad about the last 2 MLB 2K games? I'm kind of planning on buying 2K9 when it comes out, but maybe i'll have to hold off. As far as the Madden game goes, you definitely have to move the remote/nunchuck to play. throwing motion, tackling, kicking is all done with a flick of the wrist on the wii remote. The last 2 2k games had good graphics and the players had cool animations that were similar to real life, but to me it didn't play like baseball should. The physics of batting were terrible, a pitch off the inside of the plate could be hit for an opposite field home run, and the player would look out into left field as it went over the right field wall. The framerate was really bad, making it very hard to field, and when the ball was put into play it felt and looked like a ball on a string, if that makes any sense, it just doesn't seem like a baseball. There are far too many home runs, and the presentation of home runs is bad. There is no crowd excitement when one is hit, or even noise at all. There is no guessing if it's going to be a home run, it just shows a red arrow as soon as it's hit, so there is no tension build up guessing if it's going to make it over the wall, or if the fielder is going to make his 5th miraculous home run saving catch of the game. I much preferred MVP 05, it felt more realistic, you could take walks, and you actually had time to see a pitch and decide if you wanted to swing at it. In 2k you essentially have to decide before the pitch as there is no way of knowing if its going to be a ball or strike, and if you play without adjusting the sliders it's going to be a strike 90% of the time. The player ratings in 2k have been pretty bad too, but those can obviously be adjusted. 2k is good if you prefer an arcade style baseball game, but I need something that is more realistic, which is why I might get a Ps3 just for The Show. And yes I think Power Pros is much better than 2k if you can get past the graphics and player models, it is a more realistic in depth baseball game, although you can't take walks in it either.

I haven't read anything on it yet, but the last two have been incredibly bad, so I'm not getting it this year until I read reviews that all the problems have been fixed. I will probably try MLB Front Office Manager first.

I had the same problem, if you are on the Galaxy News mission just select it's location on the world map and follow the arrows. It will take you through the subway tunnels, and eventually lead you out right in front of the building. Also, once you have discovered a location you can fast travel there at any time, you don't need to walk. A lot of times I will walk to the location of a mission on the way there lose a lot of health and ammo, and then as soon as it says I discovered the location I'll just fast travel back to Megaton, or wherever you want to get supplies and restore health, and then fast travel right back to the location. Anyone find Lincoln's Repeater (the gun) yet?
